  2. lets watch Solid-

They reported on the 12th and stk got a mld vol spike and a price move from $6 to $6.50/

I didn't see anything crazy in the report but maybe they said something in Q&A.. I'll try and look into this later.

    • Solid Biosciences press release(NASDAQ:SLDB): Q2 GAAP EPS of -$0.42beats by $0.09.
    • Solid had $268.1 million in cash, cash equivalents, and available-for-sale securities as of June 30, 2025, compared to $148.9 million as of December 31, 2024. The Company expects that its cash, cash equivalents, and available-for-sale securities asof June 30, 2025, will enable it to fund its operational runway into the first half of 2027.

  5. I was going to use Eli Lilly as an example of the type of name you could buy on a one-day puke but I didn't realize it cost so damn much.

Their miss on a fat-loss pill study will cast more attention on Viking... which could still turn out to be one of the stock stories of the year...

Viking is expected to report the results from a Phase 2 study of its obesity-treating pill in the second half of this year. The update could come as early as this month.

  7. Obviously this ' pay for play ' will backfire horribly on us all.

The U.S. Navy and Air Force are poised to cancel two nearly complete software projects aimed at overhauling outdated human resources systems,Reutersreported, citing seven sources familiar with the matter.

The reason? Sources said officials want other companies - including Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) and Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR) - to have a chance to win similar projects, which could lead to a costly do-over.

Accenture (NYSE:ACN) in 2019 secured a contract to modernize core HR functions for the Air Force with Oracle (NYSE:ORCL). Over the years, the project grew to cost $368M and its first deployment was scheduled for this summer.

But Darlene Costello, then-acting assistant secretary of the Air Force, in May placed the project on a 90-day "strategic pause" and called for exploring alternate solutions.

Sources toldReutersthat the now-retired Costello had been facing pressure from other Air Force officials who wanted to steer a new HR project to Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) and Palantir (NASDAQ:PLTR).

Space Force was set to receive the Air Force's new payroll system in the coming months. But it is pulling out of the project as its officials want to launch another HR platform to be led by Workday (NASDAQ:WDAY), according to sources.

The Air Force and Space Force "want to start over with vendors that do not meet their requirements, leading to significant duplication and massive costs," said John Weiler, director, Information Technology Acquisition Advisory Council.
