Example: Say a young person is chatting with Ai or researching something outside of his/her normal patterns… should Ai now have capacity to flag and in extreme situations alert the appropriate authorities? It's a slippery slope. Law enforcement is already doing that in many large metro areas. Not with internet searches, but with traffic cams etc. AXON, MSI, and several others provide solutions that identify suspicious behavior by incorporating months of AI analysis of every vehicle on the road. They don't even need to read tags anymore, they can tell two identical makes/model/color apart by something as simple as a paint chip on one. And these systems are all being fused together on a nationwide basis. Is it right? Maybe, if it is only used to nab big-time crooks, but it won't stop there. The power of AI is scary. With cameras everywhere and vehicle/facial/voice/gate recognition, it can do in seconds what a 1000 detectives couldn't do in a year. Basically it performs what would otherwise be impossible tasks. And unfortunately our laws aren't keeping up with what it can and can't do. There will be many injustices resulting from all this, and hopefully some major court cases will emerge... but for now, the Jeanie is out of the bottle and it has free reign. ~vz
