Obviously under Biden everything was great. He took care of that Virus when trump let it run amock and ruin the economy. He brought us back with the helicopter money- that did drive inflation up but all the folks that took the money, many of them Republican didn't seem to mind. Don't forget Trump gave out checks too the difference being he put his name on the check. I think that was a huge Biden mistake not to do that. Life was good the market was always up and we all lived in a world that let people do what they want to do. There was less hate. And these folks that tried to hang Mike pence they were in jail. The one's released, some have committed new crimes, I just heard a 3 year old was attacked by one I have to look it up my wife told me. The world now seems dark. Everyone hates America. We have no friends.
I was speaking with the gal that does our flowers & landscaping up here in Ct and she has many friends and family in Sweden. In Sweden they are told daily to figure out where there nearest bomb shelter is. They are massively worried about Russia. Got me to wondering maybe the best thing for Ukraine & Sweden would be ironically if the US pulled out of NATO. I know this is a crazy thought but NATO allowed to operate freely would kick Russia's ass in a conventional showdown.
Medicare declines obesity drug coverage I don't know if this is Trump's doing but I 100% support this move!
One name to keep an eye on is Global Foundries. Back when investing was innocent and the goal or aim was not to intentionally sink the economy into recession but just to onshore more.. I picked Global for their heavy US presence... This could still play out in a positive way. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is the world’s first full-service semiconductor foundry with a truly global manufacturing and technology footprint. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is headquartered in Silicon Valley with manufacturing operations in Singapore, Germany, and a new leading-edge fab under construction in Saratoga County, New York. These sites are supported by a global network of R&D, design enablement, and customer support in Singapore, China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Add that big Saratoga plant to Malta NY and Junction VT and you have 3 US fabs... GlobalFoundries has four global manufacturing sites located in the U.S. (Malta, NY and Essex Junction, VT); Dresden, Germany; and Singapore. GFS GlobalFoundries Inc. $31.54-2.83(-8.23%)4:00 PM 04/04/25
THE VIETNAM PLAN.-: I HAD HEARD SOME CHATTER THAT VIETNAM HAD COME BACK TOT HE TABLE... AND INDEED A DEAL WITH VIETNAM WOULD BE HUGE. A) IT WOULD SETTLE THE MARKETS DOWN WITH THE THOUGHT SOME MORE COUNTRIES COULD MAKE INDIVIDUAL DEALS. B) IT WOULD SEND SOME STOCKS UP. I'M THINKING OF ON HOLDINGS THE SHOE CO BUT MANY COMPANIES LEFT CHINA FOR VIETNAM.
YOU ARE A PROUD AMERICAN! Yet you will soon see empty shelves in stores. little choice and higher than high prices. Is this Venezuela no. Products particularly exposed to tariffs are toys, videogames, computer parts and smartphones, according to research by S&P Global. Vietnam and China supply more than half of the furniture imported by the U.S., according to the Home Furnishings Association, which said, “Consumers in the U.S. are expected to bear the brunt of the costs” of tariffs.
