If he dwells too long on green energy, he'll alienate more independent voters. RBOB is up another 5% today. (unleaded futures) I don't the majority of the public wants to hear about 10 years down the road atm.
Short interest on the float is about 26%, and I have a feeling the money behind that has the money to push it down more. There's 292MM shares outstanding and only 28M in the float. I think the 180 day lock-up is next week or the week after. It started trading on 9/15 so March 15 +/- It's up over 40% from the first day of trading. 12% from day 2. I dunno, it may go up in the after hours, but I think it'll drop hard tomorrow. I could be wrong though, won't be the first time. It only has 52% institutional ownership, and ya gotta think a bunch of the WSB's folks have blown up their accounts, so there's not gonna be a Robinhood march on this thing. My guess, the whales will push it down and that will trigger all the retail noob's stops pushing it down further. When the dust settles>>> they'll go long and ride this thing right back up. Same movie, different stock.
Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (BGFV)- Thinking of going long here..... Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (BGFV) 15.52-1.04 (-6.28%)) As of 03:13PM EST. Market open.
There's some bullish option buys coming in in the last 45 minutes though. Decent size, but not really whales.
Someone placed a $1mm bet this morning that CRM will be above $220 by Friday. Lots of whales playing that one. Most are selling straddles though. Looks like they are pegging it to stay between $190 and $250 by April.
