GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by stonedinvestor, Sep 13, 2021.

  1. I've been whipsawed pretty good Van. RBLX I got out but not where you suggested unfortunately. Losing faith in the market big time.

Started getting into regional banks and Chase stubbed it's tow. Was looking at copper and copper reversed. Not in a good place.

  2. Thank you Centuria. You know stress brings this on and I wonder how much of a roll my wife plays in this (we have been fighting) and how much of a roll the stock market plays into this.

  6. AbbVie approval comes with favorable label, says Piper Sandler 15:02 ABBV Piper Sandler analyst Christopher Raymond keeps an Overweight rating AbbVie shares with a $160 price target after the FDA approved Rinvoq with a "better than expected" atopic dermatitis label. "With what seems to be benign warning language and flexibility on dosing, we think the drug is now primed to capitalize on what has been largely positive dermatologist survey feedback regarding this opportunity," Raymond tells investors in a research note. The analyst says he would "not be shocked to see meaningful upside for the drug this year." Of his $2.15B fiscal 2022 U.S. revenue estimate for Rinvoq, Raymond notes that only $140M derives from atopic dermatitis.

ConEd, National Grid briefly halted gas availability this week - WSJ
    Jan. 14, 2022 4:00 PM ETConsolidated Edison, Inc. (ED),NGGUNG
    [IMG]

    • In a move that has raised concerns that European-style energy problems may be headed for the U.S., two utilities for northeasternstates - Consolidated Edison(NYSE:ED)and National Grid(NYSE:NGG)-briefly halted availability of natural gasthis week to some commercial and industrial customers, theWall Street Journalreports.
    • But Tom Kloza at Oil Price Information Service tellsWSJ's Dan Molinski that such stoppages happen from time to time during cold weather, and the moves mostly affected groups such as dairy farms that can use other fuels, rather than hospitals, schools or homes.
    • "It's worth watching but my sense is these areas will be fine and see just a bit of supplementary demand for distillate," Kloza says, but "if you had 5-10 days of zero-to-20 degrees, it could be quite impactful."

  8. SBGI has come up twice lately--

Sinclair Broadcast issues strong forecast for regional sports streaming
Jan. 14, 2022 1:28 PM ETSinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (SBGI)

    • Sinclair Broadcast Group(NASDAQ:SBGI)has some upbeat best-case projections for the regional sports streaming service it's planning, projecting it could zoom close to a million paying subscribers by year-end.
    • The streaming launch seems close to full speed ahead, now that the company's Diamond Sports Group unit has a new rights deal with the National Basketball Association, as well as a creditor agreement providing $600 million in new capital for the venture.
    • In its best-case scenario, Diamond says it could have 975,000 paying subscribers by the end of 2021. That's from an SEC filing tied to the company's new creditor agreement.
    • The worst-case scenario, though, sees about 309,000 paying subs in that time frame. Taking the longer view, Diamond sees the DTC platform hitting 3.446 million-9.702 million paying subs by 2027.
    • The company plans to price the service at least $20 per month,Sports Business Journal says - meaning $19.5 million per month in gross intake under its best-case scenario.
    • It's a regional service rather than a national one, and lacks streaming rights for a number of teams in the biggest markets. But it's now moving forward after securing NHL rights and the recent NBA deal, along with the new loan.

    Hi Stoney.
That sucks. It's funny how when we get really sick we forget all our "problems" that we had the day before. You can't put a price tag on feeling well. And we always take it for granted.
Ahhh, just stay hydrated and get out and get some air, regardless of the weather. Go to the farm and piddle around. Get me a picture of that bear. And Whitey the deer.

On the $8M.... yeah, you read that right. The whale's down $8M if he tried to close today. The puts were $11.20 when I wrote that today, he shorted them for $8.15 so to buy them back... he has to pay $11.20
    -$300/contract X 26,500 contracts. $8M +/-

If you get bored this weekend I have a biotech that filed some decent insider buys today. Never heard of it.
