  2. Nat gas is becoming a big problem. In the UK they are falling apart-- will it spread here?

Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said the government is looking at loans for the energy sector, which is wrestling with soaring wholesale gas prices.

The record prices have destroyed the business model of smaller energy traders, with four companies failing in the past five weeks.

Yesterday, another small energy supplier, Green, said it may not survive the winter without government help. The Newcastle-based company serves more than 250,000 households.

    Van buying more DBI

Boy they had an eye opening stat on the TV yesterday.

Ok so the averages say one thing being weighted as they are BUT the average stock is down alot. I should of realized this when I made that list up for Van that completely spontaneous list in which every stock had actually topped last Jan... EXACTLY WHEN I SAID

But the staggering number was the Russell Russell stocks were down I want to say 30+%.

Say what you want about GBA's stock picking methodology but give me one thing.... I primarily use Russell type stocks as you know. Don't you think it's a little bit amazing that I can do what I do in the face of a sector that is down 30%.

I guess it is a stock pickers market after all. ;)

A China Ocean Shipping Group Co. freighter in the San Francisco Bay waits to enter

Two years ago, a 40-foot container cost less than $2,000 to transport goods from Asia to the U.S. Today the service fetches as much as $25,000 if an importer pays a premium for on-time delivery, which is a luxury. That’s translated into big money for container carriers, with the industry on track to post $100 billion in net profit this year, up from about $15 billion in 2020.

  6. This is a name I have used in the past.

    Scorpio Tankers Inc. (STNG)

    14.82-1.26 (-7.84%)

Some of thebiggest oil tankercompanies include: Belgium-based Euronav NV (EURN); Monaco-based Scorpio Tankers Inc. (STNG); and Teekay Corp. (TK), which has ownership interests in publicly traded sister companies Teekay Tankers Ltd. (TNK) and Teekay LNG Partners LP (TGP).

I wouldn't touch STNG now their earn have been terrible.

    Teekay though.....

These shipping stocks are well off their highs. Why?

TNK was $15 June 4th why is it $11 today when we know what we know about freight costs?

Folks.... the answer to everything is probably reflected in those shipping stocks- why would they be down?

    Wedbush names)
    • "We believe relative to the outsized growth prospects ahead, this is not the time that we are throwing in the white towel on our tech bull thesis with some yelling fire in a crowded theater saying Evergrande is the start of a broader sell-off, but rather doubling down on this opportunity to own the secular winners."
    • Apple(NASDAQ:AAPL) is the favorite FAANG stock at Wedbush, while cloud favorites are Microsoft(NASDAQ:MSFT), DocuSign(NASDAQ:DOCU), Matterport(NASDAQ:MTTR)and Pegasystems(NASDAQ:PEGA). The firm's favorite cyber security names in our coverage remain Varonis Systems(NASDAQ:VRNS), Zscaler(NASDAQ:ZS), Telos Corporation(NASDAQ:TLS), SailPoint Technologies(NYSE:SAIL), CyberArk Software(NASDAQ:CYBR), Tenable Holdings(NASDAQ:TENB), Palo Alto Networks(NYSE:PANW)and Fortinet(NASDAQ:FTNT).
MTTR @$20. is probably a buy look how it is lumped in with other real stocks. The SPAC stain is fading.

That Forinet is not what you think. It's not Fortnight the game. They got a seperate upgrade today. FTNT

  9. Deal with amazon
The company recently announced a deal with Amazon (AMZN). The deal is a two-part deal. One part is a commercial deal that involves Amazon buying RNG fuel for its new fleet through stations. This could potentially involve the sale of hundreds of millions of gallons of RNG through 27 of their stations. As amazon deploys more RNG trucks, Clean Energy will deploy more stations. The other part of the deal involves the issuance of warrants to Amazon that vest as their business relationship deepens from the first part. The scale of the deal is variable so it remains to be seen how greatly Clean Energy will benefit. It is definitely a potentially lucrative arrangement.

The company also has key partnerships with other impressive names.
