I missed this until today. NAKD just did a reverse split 15 to 1 and will purchase Cenntro an EV firm. from lingerie to electric motors????? every 3 current shares will be swapped for 7 sh of the new entity... does this one have granny's shorts potential? thoughts?
Naz up 125 holy carp! Well from the outset reverse split... I think only two of those have worked in my lifetime of investing. And EV could not be a more difficult field. Just in case the sector moves in 2022. Maybe par the trade with a long position on ELMS.
Canada Goose The premium winter jacket maker was blasted on Chinese social media following an incident in which the company allegedly refused to accept a customer return in mainland China citing its policy. Canada Goose later denied that it had a no refund policy and said that all products sold at retail stores in mainland China were refundable, but was still criticized by the China Consumer Association. “If you don’t do what you say, regard yourself as a big brand, behave arrogantly and in a superior way, adopt discriminatory policies, be condescending and bully customers, you will for sure lose the trust of consumers and be abandoned by the market,” the organization wrote in an opinion piece. Meanwhile, Chinese state-owned broadcaster CCTV called Canada Goose "arrogant and superior." The condemnation comes after the company was fined roughly $71,000 in September by Chinese government regulators for false advertising regarding its down jackets. Canada Goose's DTC business in China is one of the company's fastest growing segments,
INCA Investing News Club Of America- For Immediate Release- Q&A with The stonedinvestor. Q: What is the secrete? A: Fresh made lemonade.
Stoney! Some of my Twitter fans from out west are telling me there's rumors that Native American wind whisperer's are writing chants about the savant that called the top on the NASDAQ. I think it might be me. Hey for real, I am seeing some heavy put action on the Q's. Tell me why in the world someone would buy at the ask 30,000 Jan 21 $300 puts on QQQ? $900K to just throw away betting on a 20% + drop in Nasdaq 500 in less than a month? I saw it yesterday too on several strikes below $330. I dunno Stoney. I'm being serious. I hope nothing bad happens.
One has to wonder, how hard would it be for China to give a few folks a new variant, send them on their way to Europe or S. Africa. It would be impossible to prove really. If we get another variant soon this will market will crash. People are getting sick of this crap. What better way for China to see the West collapse from within. It doesn't even have to be a nasty variant, not one that's gonna kill a bunch of people, just one that requires a new and better vax. They could just spread their bets across all different sectors. In addition to that trade I listed above, someone today also bought 13,750 of the Jan 21 $275 puts on the Q's, and 12,250 of the $280 puts. These were single leg trades. Granted those puts are cheap, but why? I mean these things are only a month out. Why in the hell would someone throw money away like that? I understand it could be a hedge, but that low? Hedge against what? It would take a serious black-swan to get any return on those things. Hmph. Beats me.
