He feels Tesla is on pace to report Q4 deliveries of around 280,000 vehicles, which Johnson said would "blow away" the current consensus estimate of 262,340 units. He then expect that the sell-side and media "will herald these results as stellar," even though he said they will represent a decline in incremental cars sold quarter-over-quarter despite more having been produced. Johnson maintains a Sell rating and $67 price target on Tesla shares.
