Of course, what if.... and its a big what if.... but what if that 5% owner is not allowed to own weed stocks? Remember your fiduciary? Hmmmmmm.
Ya know, Canopy's silver lining in their last report was their CBD gummie sales in the U.S. It grew like 150%. That's where they made all their money. It's not much of a reach there Stoney. So, given that this is a profitable company producing premium products in an exploding market, why is the stock price down 30% YTD? One reason is that EagleTree Capital, which owns over 57% of the shares, keeps unloading shares into the market at a price in the mid-$30s. This has created a lot of resistance for Corsair's stock price at that level. The second reason is there is a huge short interest in the stock. According to Yahoo Finance, Corsair’s float is 36.3MM shares and the number of shares short is 10.6MM, meaning that over 37% of the available float of the stock has been shorted. This is asinine. Corsair’s year to date price action and current stock price of $25.77 has to do with the battle between the longs and the shorts – it has nothing to do with the underlying company. It has become completely detached from reality and taken on a life of its own. Van would it not make sense that when EagleTree stops selling this will pop?
Beauty Health gains newest bull in Stifel Stifel initiates coverage of The Beauty Health Company(SKIN-2.2%)with a Buy rating, citing high growth potential as more salons are adopting the company's flagship brand Hydrafacial. Scalp treatment Keravive, which was introduced was introduced just before the coronavirus pandemic in January 2020, and a new at-home device rolling out in the first half of next year are potential growth products. Quickly growing international markets could also play a role in the stock's growth story. Stifel places a price target of $33 on the stock. All 8 WS analysts covering Beauty Health have Buy-equivalent ratings on the stock with an average price target of $30. This is really a tough car. Could be made into a commercial. What is it a Kia?
SNDL. Weed company acquiring a booze company. Got to have both in these crazy times. One to kept and eye on. See if the .70 area holds up today. Shares of the Canadian cannabis company Sundial Growers (NASDAQ: SNDL) are having a strong finish to the week. Sundial's shares are up by double digits today on the news that it will acquire Canada's largest private liquor retailer, Alcanna. Alcanna shareholders will receive 10.69 common shares of Sundial in exchange for one share of the liquor giant.
Saturn lol. Ya gotta give him credit, if Roger Smith was anything, he was a marketing genius with Saturn. A Chevy by any other name, is still a Chevy. He pulled the wool over the eyes of most American's in the market for a quality car at the time. Typical GM junk, but Roger used used Shiseido instead of Maybelline when he reached for the lipstick. Who remembers the Cadillac Cimarron lol? I mean, the a Chevy Cavalier? The new and improved Vega. Let's ruin an entire heretofore respected brand name with a pos car. That was before Roger though. Now we have a new GM. Yeah right. My money is on Ford, Toyota, and (maybe) TSLA. Ford and Toyota for sure.
