  1. Nine I have some of that SLI.-! // The idea to become energy self reliant is a new one for Biden and a blow to the far left and green earth folks. This will most likely lead to some funding under very good terms for TELL.

Natural gas is the play. It was up today when oil was down. Russia can turn off the taps at any moment - Europe needs new supply - What I don't get is this idea that electricity can run all things I don't see how. We have 3 Large ass boilers the size of an aircraft carriers in the basement of this building that heats 300 units and the Gov of NY thinks we can run that with electricity. You need Nat Gas.

    • Sempra (SRE) and Total (TTE) signed two memoranda of understanding Thursday; one for Sempra's (SRE) Pacifico LNG project in Mexico, and a second for Total's (TTE) proposed offshore wind project in California.
    • The Pacifico agreement indicates Total (TTE) will sign long-term contracts for 1/3 of the project's LNG supply and own a piece of the terminal; an interesting development, following the recent liquidation of Total's (TTE) holdings in Tellurian (TELL).
    • The two companies are already joint venture partners in Cameron LNG and Costa Azul, and increased cooperation may mark a pivot for the French super major away from Russia and towards North American upstream investment.

  8. This is from before the Russia mess-

SRE’s LNG export business, as management highlighted a strong uptick in the LNG market during the Q&A session of the recent conference call:

We've seen a dramatic improvement in the market, both on the spot market, and I think importantly, you're starting to see some of these long-term contracts come back. Also, importantly, we're seeing higher forward curves over the next few years for deliveries into Asia and Europe. And I'd say the final thing that we're seeing that I think is important is you're seeing China 's reentry into the long-term market.

We are seeing a real uptick in our discussions, both in Asia and Europe, and frankly, as well as South America. So, I think we're going to see some exciting things coming over LNG portfolio and we should benefit from this constructive market backdrop. Again, we think we have a competitive advantage, the ability to dispatch directly into Europe and Asia. And again, over the long term, it's nice to see that we still see demand for LNG growing mid to high single-digits, which supports our long-term very bullish view on LNG development.

Certainly some medium term themes I like are Nat Gas, Copper, and Lithium. I've been playing the first two since 2020. The Venture exchange really performed poorly latter half 2021 but it's showing more life now.
