Lovesac price target raised to $135 from $111 at DA Davidson 08:03 LOVE DA Davidson analyst Tom Forte raised the firm's price target on Lovesac to $135 from $111 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after its Q4 earnings beat. The company has been able to reach consumers faster than competitors while allocating marketing spend judiciously, thus benefiting from timing, execution, and marketing decisions during the pandemic, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Forte adds that Lovesac has benefited from its inventory and supply chain management throughout Q4 while delivering product to customers at a best-in-class rate.

    Description

    Glencore plc produces, refines, processes, stores, transports, and markets metals and minerals, and energy products in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. It operates through two segments, Marketing Activities and Industrial Activities. The company produces and markets copper, cobalt, nickel, zinc, lead, chrome ore, ferrochrome, vanadium, alumina, aluminum, tin, and iron ore. It also engages in the oil exploration/production, distribution, storage, and bunkering activities; and offers coal, crude oil and oil products, refined products, and natural gas. In addition, the company markets and distributes physical commodities sourced from third party producers and its production to industrial consumers in the battery, electronic, construction, automotive, steel, energy, and oil industries. Further, it provides financing, logistics, and other services to producers and consumers of commodities. The company was formerly known as Glencore Xstrata plc and changed its name to Glencore plc in May 2014. Glencore plc was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Baar, Switzerland.

  7. "We have no operational footprint in Russia and our trading exposure is not material for Glencore,"the company says, while also condemning Russia's actions in Ukraine.

    Glencore's move marks a change in the company's relationship to Russia; former Glencore CEO Ivan Glasenberg was awarded Russia's Order of Friendship by Vladimir Putin in 2017.

    Glencore shares recently rose to decade-highs in London after reporting its highest-ever profit in 2021 and foreseeing an end to regulatory probes.
