  1. There is a whisper of panic in the air concerning natural gas. I like the story better when no one was noticing. I am keeping all of this in mind.

Under Armour reports transition quarter adjusted EPS 1c, consensus 6c 06:59 UAA, UA Reports transition quarter revenue $1.3B, consensus $1.32B. Inventory was down 3% to $824M. "Having successfully executed a multi-year transformation and after delivering a record year in 2021 - we are continuing to serve the needs of athletes amid an increasingly more uncertain marketplace," said Under Armour president and CEO Patrik Frisk. "As global supply challenges and emergent COVID-19 impacts in China eventually normalize, we are confident that the strength of the Under Armour brand coupled with our powerful growth strategy positions us well to deliver sustainable, profitable returns to shareholders over the long-term."

IDEA #1 UA- ( I now have to do this. UA will open down once the dust settles then you buy-)

  2. The NYT is digging into the war a bit too much. Revealing the US's help in targeting generals and in targeting the warship that was sunk. I have been saying this since the start of the war but no one listens to me. Russia must be ticked off good.

  3. The market moves for many reasons. One of them is analysts comments and now that is working against us. No matter what you do as a company, an analyst will use the cover of earnings to lower their ridiculous price targets. I mean you can't win. I can count on one hand the number of Price Target Raises after earnings this time around. It's super annoying and more about the wrong headed analysts than the actual company in question. The market is going down the analysts see that and they say Boy I look stupid with my $60 PT on a stk that is now $32. So even if $2 already punished stock does nothing wrong and meets their estimates-- they are killed again because the late acting analysis trim price targets.

    Not in this case though:

Albemarle price target raised to $290 from $250 at Deutsche Bank 06:56 ALB

    THIS IS RADIO SAVANT-!

  4. I'm tweaking the new format (above). It will have some some sort of general thought process followed by an idea. More like Pirate Radio-- but about companies and current events and how they co-mingle. It will mean more serious work for me but less overall posts!

  5. The pool awaits you and never doubts you and never calls you names. The pool warms at a touch of a button and the pool supports you weight and lets you float your problems away. The pool is healthy and good exercise and of course a pool is beautiful. It is hard to find anything wrong with a pool. Family time is time you will treasure the rest of your lives. My Boy and I playing Watermelon Ball- don't ask- the battles,,, you have to get from one side of the shallow end to the other.. while bouncing this underwater ball shaped like a Watermelon... you can take three steps before underwater bounce... otherwise no rules./ Those days I will remember the rest of my life. As my Boy Becomes A Man and leaves me for college.

Leslie's price target lowered to $25 from $28 at Baird 06:44 LESL Baird analyst Peter Benedict lowered the firm's price target on Leslie's to $25 from $28 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The analyst said the company's needs-based demand and stable micro growth initiatives provide attractive P&L durability in today's volatile macro environment. He said with valuation undemanding, the stock seemingly offers compelling risk/reward,

  6. It is near impossible to report earnings and get and price target increase... Yet I went out on a limb and bought into a name Grid Dynamics. For some reason I could not get you al excited. That's too bad-

Natural gas is a bubble. We produce more than we consume.Where's the increased demand coming from that justifies a double?

  8. It happened in Europe earlier in the year. I think it's traders in the options pits maybe?
In Europe gas sky rocketed to levels that would make us puke. I don't know how they didn't panic.

  10. Grid Dynamics price target raised to $23 from $20 at Citi 06:18 GDYN Citi analyst Ryan Potter raised the firm's price target on Grid Dynamics to $23 from $20 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
