GBA Presents: THE BARE ESSENTIALS

  1. Granted I have not heard of any of these brands!
It offers beer under the brand names Skol, Brahma, Antarctica, Bohemia, Original, Quilmes, Paceña, Pilsen, Labatt Blue, Alexander Keith's, Kokanee, and Guaraná Antarctica; and carbonated soft drinks, other non-alcoholic and non-carbonated products such as Pepsi, H2OH!, Lipton Ice Tea and Gatorade.

  5. Moving on to idea No 2... These guys get a lot of attention. Looks like March the analysts all fell over themselves so they will be looking to push forwards that positive narrative.-

I've been owning this stock off and on since it was around $2.50 October 2020. MEG Energy is very similar. Great value play. They both tend to overreact on the down moves in Oil then the buyers pile in. Since the War introduced some choppiness I often treat them both as a trade but earnings could make them a hold soon.

Ahhh, that's to be expected. Those stores will always do well. Especially now with mortgage rates up. Not sure and without looking, but I bet HD reaffirmed too. Stock was hammered but whatever, WS is just finicky.

Bold VZ call>>> I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say we are at peak inflation. Should start moderating from here.

Doubled down on the Six Flags position when it hit $38.

Well, we're going to find out next week when we get TWO inflation prints...Consumer on Tuesday, and producer on Wednesday. Look out below?

(And I agree on Six Flags. I have not looked at the chart, but if 38 is anywhere near a 2Y bottom, it should be rising well this year. People need to have some fun and with Covid finally subsiding in people minds and mask mandates nothing like what they were from a year ago, it should bring them a lot more business this season.)

On the inflation call, you have to let that one breath for a second or so. Remember, govt reports are just that... govt reports. Rest assured they'll lag the real world. ;)

Six Flags is pricey. In a way. In all honesty, aside from market exuberance on the re-open stuff... show me the growth.
    Is there any? Probably not.
It might be a bad call on my part.

All things being equal, readers need to go (somewhat) full Warren Buffet mode at this point.
