  1. 81% of Americans anticipate a recession this year.

Wow. Don't know what to make of that.

I am so f ed*. I constructed al these portfolios for (don't laugh) The Recovery, The Post-Covid happiness; the trips, the going out to eat - the summer of summers.

Now all of that is in question. The only thing we know for sure is weddings.

Honestly everything has changed in 1 1/2 weeks. > Or has it.

Really smart dude on TV just now fund manager and he is buying food stocks Sysco instead of US Food! and he is buying home improvement stocks like HD and AZEK... That's where my head is at.

  5. I wrote this a while back--

Solar is the topic of the day. It is such a tough sector.

CSIQ was always my play back in the day.But there is Jinko JKS and many others<--

I've been burned before with false break outs but part of this Russian story is no one wants Russian oil anymore. And it really is going to speed up large scale solar projects... We probably want exposure in Germany and France & US... and then it gets complicated about who has a commodity part of solar and who has panels, who has the chips> and then it gets more complicated who had the lowest cost,,, it's a tough a sector.

If you want to make a lot of money- 100% and you have some stomach for pain, you may want to take a look at a stock of mine that I have gotten beaten up in good. I am still a holder - waiting for price of steel to come down because that's a huge imput cost for these guys...

But at $11 they are giving this stock away. Array makes metal couplings that rotate so solar panels can move and always catch the suns most direct angle<-- increases effeciency.

  7. Azek in 'large scale' C&D recycling pact with DTG Recycle 07:04 AZEK The AZEK Company announced a PVC recycling alliance with DTG Recycle, the largest recycler of construction and demolition waste in the Pacific Northwest. The alliance expands AZEK's FULL-CIRCLE PVC Recycling program to now include the collection of PVC-based C&D debris. As part of the alliance, PVC scrap and debris collected by DTG Recycle will be processed by Return Polymers, AZEK's vertically integrated recycler, and then incorporated into one of AZEK's many sustainable outdoor living product lines made with recycled PVC material, including TimberTech AZEK decking and AZEK and Versatex Trim. "We are excited about what this C&D recycling alliance with DTG Recycle represents - a new recovery channel for PVC waste and scrap that might be otherwise destined for landfills," said AZEK CEO Jesse Singh. "AZEK's goal is to recycle one billion pounds of waste and scrap annually by the end of 2026. To achieve this ambition, and, ultimately, to advance and sustain a circular economy, it is imperative to find new solutions and new partners whose leadership, capabilities and sustainability goals match our own. We have found that and more in DTG Recycle." Show Related Items >>

  10. Aptiv double upgraded to Buy at BofA 06:57 APTV As previously reported, BofA analyst John Murphy double upgraded Aptiv to Buy from Underperform with a price target of $165, up from $125, as he rebalanced his ratings among his auto makers and suppliers coverage. Despite cuts to his volume forecasts, he believes that the near-term volume pressure is setting up for a more robust production volume recovery. His anticipated peak around 2025 should set up for "a broad-based constructive trade on the group to persist into 2022-2023," said Murphy, though he acknowledges he expects stocks in the sector may remain volatile over the next few months.
