I did too embrace the positive. I told you good job twice, plus I broke the news about the ceo when it 1st hit the wires. Regarding selling lol... if I had said that and it went up... I'd have never heard the friggin end of it. Plus you never listen anyway. But it was definitely a sell the news event. I knew when I posted that you'd say "I sold it" anyway. I added more Guggenheim near the top. Caching.
Do you own this thing Stoney? For real, I'd be careful if you do. I'm telling ya, there's a 36MM float, and 167MM shares outstanding and I think the lock up ends this week. It may have ended today. I'd expect some news release soon about some great deal they've made so the insiders can start dumping into any and all strength. Every stock out there was up today, and this thing is up what, 10 cents on the day? Where's all the institutional money? This thing is the SPAC version of Fitbit or GoPro.
COOP has pulled back to the 50pc level of its previous move up. 2.75 PE. additional revenue streams compared to typical mortage companies. (mortgage servicing, etc.) Someone called it out here awhile back............ just giving it a bump. what do you guys think? Housing is a bare essential.
- COOP is tied into housing which is in free fall or is it-? This is one of the weirdest parts of the market, rents are way up housing costs to build are way way up and so end price of new homes is way up. It all equals inflation. So the home building stocks are down and everything that goes into a home is down RH is down and AZEK is down and roofing is down... And yet my gut says sales are up. Not just total dollar... The Q is does someone want inflation to look better? Yes the Fed and Biden. and at this point is that unfairly punishing this sector. I think so.
What makes Zendesk so special? I do not know. I buy a ton of these names and some names are better than others, some symbols are better than others and ZEN had all of that in spades. I bought originally in the $40's and sold at $90+ so when you have a stk like that you don't forget about it. And ZEN has been in a protracted situation with the boys at JANA partners (who seldom lose) and Zen has almost made a purchase that everyone hated and was forced to can the idea... and so we are left with this hot, perculating mess waiting to be sold-- Which means it really isn't going down.) So we have the rare tech stk which maybe we could hold through a retesting of whatever low.... Zendesk may be worth $180 to $200 in a takeout by a strategic bidder, investor says Apr. 04, 2022 5:51 PM ETZendesk, Inc. (ZEN)ADBE,GDRX Zendesk (NYSE:ZEN) may be worth $180 to $200/share in a potential takeover from a strategic bidder, according to an investor in the company. Zendesk sharesticked up 1%in after hours trading. "If therewere to be a strategic bidder we think there at least seven significant strategic bidders that could to try to take the company out," Light Street founder and chief investment officer Glen Kacher said in aninterview with CNBC. Kacher comments come as the companyfaces a proxy contestfrom activist Jana Partners, who is pushing ZEN to add Jana board members or sell itself. In February Zendeskrejected an "unsolicited" bid from a consortium of private equity firms to acquire Zendesk in an all-cash transaction valued between$127 and $132 per share. Jana, which initially called for Zendesk to terminate its nowcancelled purchaseof SurveyMonkey parent Momentive (MNTV) back in late November, in Februarynominated four directorsto Zendesk's board. Kacher also sees the possibility for ZEN to continue operating as a standalone business with management cutting expenses, saying the stock could be a "double or triple." Separately, Kacher also said he liked GoodRx Holdings (GDRX), one of Light Street's largest positions. "We see this stock being a double or triple in two and a half years," Kacher said.
