  1. Stoney did you really say Lisa should come upstairs to fix your leaky pipes and to ' bring a massage towel? '

... I mean how am I supposed to respond to this? The towel obviously was to stuff the pipe to stop the leak. Landlord stuff.....

  5. Van I think CSX could beat by 3 cents. They did that last time. I'm abit concerned the expectations are high.

If you are looking for a stock that has a solid history of beating earnings estimates and is in a good position to maintain the trend in its next quarterly report, you should consider CSX (CSX). This company, which is in the Zacks Transportation - Rail industry, shows potential for another earnings beat.

This freight railroad has an established record of topping earnings estimates, especially when looking at the previous two reports. The company boasts an average surprise for the past two quarters of 4.51%.

For the most recent quarter, CSX was expected to post earnings of $0.47 per share, but it reported $0.50 per share instead, representing a surprise of 6.38%. For the previous quarter, the consensus estimate was $0.38 per share, while it actually produced $0.39 per share, a surprise of 2.63%.

NASA’s DART mission successfully shoved an asteroid
The orbital change was even bigger than scientists expected
    October 11, 2022 at 5:29 pm

It worked! Humanity has, for the first time, purposely moved a celestial object.

As a test of a potential asteroid-deflection scheme, NASA’s DART spacecraft shortened the orbit of asteroid Dimorphos by 32 minutes — a far greater change than astronomers expected.

The Double Asteroid Redirection Test, or DART, rammed into the tiny asteroid at about 22,500 kilometers per hour on September 26 (SN: 9/26/22). The goal was to move Dimorphos slightly closer to the larger asteroid it orbits, Didymos.
