Trading volume has increased since March and the On-Balance-Volume (OBV) line has been in a decline from July but the pace of the decline has slowed down with the May low only slightly lower than the March low. The 12-day price momentum study in the lower panel of this chart shows that momentum levels have improved from December while prices have continued lower. This difference between what prices are doing and the indicator is doing is a bullish divergence and can at times foreshadow a rally. This could be the time with earnings coming out this evening. In the weekly Japanese candlestick chart of ZM, below, we can see a potential bullish hammer bottom pattern the second week in May. The most recent candlestick pattern is a spinning top so this week we need to see some bullish confirmation of a bottom. A white real body this week will do it. The weekly OBV line is still pointed down but like the daily momentum study, the weekly momentum study shows improvement and a slowing in the decline.

I wonder if these guys will benefit in any way by tariff relief. you would think China may also do this on their side... SEED already sells a ton of seed to China but is their a tariff>? This was back in Feb. Co announced a huge purchase order from China today) Origin Agritech sees FY22 revenue growth over 300%, expects to be profitable 02/07/22 SEED Origin Agritech announced that it expects revenues to grow in excess of 300%, to over 150M RMB, and expects to turn a profit for fiscal 2022. The expected revenue growth is driven by both growth in its existing hybrid seed business and the addition of a new revenue stream of selling nutritionally enhanced crops to feedstock companies. Due to increased pre-orders, Origin is already sold out of its hybrid seeds for this year's planting season. The company is increasing its production capabilities for the next planting season as it expects this trend in demand to continue as climate change continues to pose increasingly significant challenges to farmers. Additionally, Origin expects its partnership with BaoDao Feed Ltd to provide sizable revenue growth. Its nutritionally enhanced corn varieties are able to eliminate the need for costly additives and are estimated to double the gross margins for the feedstock companies. Origin is currently in discussions for similar partnerships with other feedstock producers with the goal of creating bespoke crops for each customer, which Origin plans to achieve through its GMO and CRISPR technologies.

I dunno Stoney. It's risky. A forward PE of 25 and projected 5 year growth annually at 15% gives it a PEG of 1.67. That scares me in this market. Option volume today is very bearish. Don't yell at me tomorrow if I'm wrong, but I think you should get on the sidelines. Unless they announce they're buying something. They do have a lot of cash. Do they have a buyback in place? They might announce one if not. Is it a glorified one trick pony? It kinda is. Those options wouldn't be this pricey if it was a slam dunk to the upside. 21% move in one direction or the other being priced in. At $108 that would give this thing a trailing PE of about 27 if they come in at the top of estimates. Is it worth that for 15% growth? Not really. But like I said, maybe they'll do something with that cash hoard.
