Stoney, I'm gonna say use $172. VZ jumped too soon.

Edit... When they drop this much in the ah's and they don't bounce.... bad juju.
    $176 now.
    Don't chase it down.
It could go to the low $160's

In a way though, bad news is good news.
There goes the chance of 100 basis points next week.
Powell may even get dovish now. FDX is a good barometer of things.
Geeze... forcast eps cut in half. Ouch.
AMZN down 2%... that'll sting the naz.
They're playing into my hand perfectly Stoney. ;)

This never happened. QQQ went down too early in the day, and commodity stocks were weak today. I didn't feel like chasing in either direction, had a few sell orders that didn't fill. Option expiry often a good shorting day but commodities can be outliers some months.

No chance in HELL Powell pivots after that CPI print. Remember, he and his cronies got caught with hands in cookie jar insider-trading. He no longer cares about the market, and in fact WANTS it to crash. He wants people poorer to cool off spending. Market is doomed.

  10. Lizard king disappointed but certainly not surprised. Out at the end of the day basically even.
All these money pro's have been putting out the drastic down calls it's just too much to
fight against. And of course the bond yields.

I am not a bond guy never have been. But if you really are looking out 1 year or more which all these stock twits like to say.. Wouldn't you buy bonds soon? As soon as the dollar retreats, I would take that 3+% with the knowledge the Fed in a year will be lowering rates. Doesn't that guarantee upward bond action at that point? With the economy slowing that is what is going to happen.

Once again I don't know bonds..
