I use Fubo. It’s one of many internet TV services. If there is something you want to watch they don’t have, you just download the free app. I’ts great for watching the golf on my iPad or phone while outside.
TTM Ebitda on this thing is 150M. That comes out to about 18X Are they forecast to do that well going forward? (Cathie is blabbing away about something on Bloomberg. She gets more TV time than my local weatherman does. Ya gotta give her some credit though, not my type, but she has aged well for being almost 70. That voice of hers though... it would drive me crazy. She should run her Zoom mic thru a compressor, smooth out the jagged edges. That crushed glass) Anyway Stoney, APPS is holding up today, lots of bearish activity on the options though. I think its going up on earnings. Thoughts?
So FUBO = ROKU. My complaint on ROKU is the sports channels are wack. To watch a Yankee game my son had to do the most amazing stuff and he did get it steamed through ROKU somehow but you can't just push a button and get there. You have to be real good with tech. The regular TV is lacking and you have to scroll forever you can't jump to channel 2 or something.. and it goes on and on and on with the weirdest hick channels... If FUBO has better interface with regular TV it could be a buy here. The streaming numbers are going way up. Hulu is really doing well now I like HBO Max and NFLX and Apple tv seem to be falling behind. Paramount seems irrelevant
Or if you’re trying to save grandma from her $250 a month cable-ISP pack. Get fiber $60 plus FUBO= a lot less.
Oh yeah... I heard about that. I don't know. Can't they create synthetic long positions with the options though?
There's people out there that firmly believe GME is going over $500. Post split. I think they're nuts, but who knows.
Ya gotta give her some credit though, not my type, but she has aged well for being almost 70. and she's willing to do Naked and Afraid with you- Van I've lost track with the APPS play-- I backed out. But it was long dated and some ridiculous number maybe $40? That or $30. It wil take some luck to get there. I lost big on this name so I didn't want to mess. B. Riley starts 'mispriced' Digital Turbine with Buy, $29 price target 06/29 APPS B. Riley analyst Daniel Day last night initiated coverage of Digital Turbine with a Buy rating and $29 price target. Digital Turbine is a leading mobile app growth and monetization platform offering a suite of products to assist app publishers and developers in user acquisition and monetization, Day tells investors in a research note. The analyst says that with the shares down 80% from the 2021 highs, investors have "unfairly bucketed APPS into a group of high-growth story stocks lacking near-term free cash flow generation." He models 27% annual revenue growth over the next five years, with EBITDA and free cash flow projected to grow even faster due to operating leverage. Digital Turbine is an "ideal name for investors looking for high-quality, mispriced stocks that have been unfairly punished amidst the fog of the recent tech drawdown," writes Day. AN EXCERPT FROM STONEY'S RETIREMENT SPEECH How do I keep tabs with the average man? Well I believe in hard chores. Chores that make no sense but require effort. I believe every day you should make your bed. And sometimes (this is true) when I'm pouring my drink.. ice tea or lemonade or Coke, I pretend I'm a bartender at a far away resort and I say--" table 9.". and push it a bit before taking my drink upstairs....
Well, you know as we always say... we like Mr Riley... that note was on 6/29... he's up 30%+ so far. It was $17
