Even before the WMT #'s... go into a DG and walk around. They look like a hurricane hit. You can't even walk up and down the aisles. Make no mistake, I have loved the company in the past, but whatever is going on there, needs to be fixed. The stores are a mess! There is no rhyme or reason to where things are on the shelves.... its just a huge mess. Unstocked inventory is everywhere. Like I said... some aisles, you can't even walk down. And there'll be only two people working. Or one! I write this because I know bots will read this, and there are employees there that have been there for years and many have staked their entire retirements on the stock. It's still a great story, its not about buying things cheap, its about CONVENIENCE. This is what Wall Street has missed. But they need to stop building new stores and organize the ones they already have. Don't take my word for it... visit one.
emergency meeting- NextEra Energy downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Seaport Global 07:27 NEE Seaport Global analyst Angie Storozynski downgraded NextEra Energy to Neutral from Buy with no price target, telling investors that she has "grown uncomfortable" with the utility's rising deferred purchased fuel balances and growing media scrutiny of subsidiary FPL's lobbying practices against distributed solar and retail deregulation. With the stock trading at a "rich" premium to an average utility, she believes any legal, political or regulatory inquiry into FPL's conduct "would be highly damaging to the stock," Storozynski tells investors.
GBA upgrade- KTOS- Kratos Defense engine development important growth opportunity, says Canaccord 07:23 KTOS Canaccord analyst Austin Moeller noted Kratos Defense has been issued a $54M contract to develop a "limited life" jet engine. The analyst views its engine development program as an important growth opportunity for the company in the 2023-2025 timeframe. He said while traditionally incumbent suppliers have enjoyed minimal competition in the small jet engine niche, the growing importance of fielding standoff weapons with ever-longer ranges has opened the market to Kratos to act as a disruptor and take share. Moeller reiterated his Buy rating and $23 price target on Kratos Defense shares.
