LyondellBasell (NYSE:LYB) has restarted to full production the fire-damaged large coker at its 263K bbl/day Houston refinery after completing repairs, Reuters reported Thursday. The 57K bbl/day 737 coker was shut by a June 14 fire in a heater on the unit, and repairs, which were expected to take at least two weeks to complete, reportedly began on June 15. The 100-year-old Houston refinery can produce 89K bbl/day of gasoline, 44.5K bbl/day of jet fuel and 92.6K bbl/day of diesel fuel. Lyondell (LYB) said in April that it planned to permanently close the refinery at the end of 2023 after a buyer could not be found; the coker repairs avoided the risk of an early permanent closure of the refinery. Reuters reported in June that Lyondell (LYB) would permanently close the refinery ahead of the deadline if a coker or other major unit is shut and unable to quickly return to production. janes I had two analyst views with $20 PT's I found but I just couldn't post them thinking of you. We were right all along. I missed this move which I find hurtful. In retrospect $4-$5 was just stupid.

Van This SIX is my biggest loser I think! I can't believe what has happened. Was I stoned at $41? Yes but what was I thinking? Where was it going to go. I have huge regrets here and I am in the hole big time.. feel trapped.... If we get a good recession... I'm toast.
Middle-class America doesn't want to take a family on a friggin vacation that includes going anywhere near an airport... Get with times Stoney! This is wrong the latest numbers are encouraging people are booking earlier than ever up to 11 months which is unheard of- they are going to Europe and booking Europe stuff the cheap American dollar to Euro almost 1-1 parity is a godsend for tourists sporting the American Buck. I would estimate that bookings are up 14% Internationally. And domestic if numbers are down they are down due to canceled flights not lack of demand. What has happened is Covid has shown us what life is like trapped at home. And Covid may come around again and trap us again but until that first shutdown globally it's game on. Use leverage on Booking.com <--- I like AirBNB Still! Possibly Delta
It’s like being a kid again, remember 1970s Godzilla, Jonny Soko and the Giant Robot, Gamera. Compared to them, kids have us beat on Scify.
if my memory serves me right, you sold this at its peak before it crashed down to five. i did ok swing trading, but kept a bunch for the approval and then bought the dip, so i had a bunch and then apparently played it wrong. yah re-entering at $5 pre-approval seems a no brainer in retrospect, but FDA approval was like six months late and one had to think there was a chance something had gone wrong.
