Stoney... you were telling folks to buy WOLF north of $110

I mean when a stock gets cut in half, and the tech sector rallies almost 10% in 6 trading days, bro, its hardly a savant stock pick.

Know what was though? When I called the near term market bottom.

    The tide raised everything.
Your "greatest stock picker ever" picks are inconsequential.

The skill is in seeing the bigger picture.

Every "darling" tech stock on the naz went up just as much.

As I always say, "throw a dart".

    >>> The skill lies in the timing.
When you can hang with me on that, then you can brag a little. :sneaky:

EDIT: wow... We came within less than 200 points of 11,800 today as we march up. In 6 days!
    AMAZING CALL :wtf:

    >>>YOU'RE WELCOME STONEY! I DO IT ALL FOR FREE.

When you scream a stock is a buy on every incremental drop, ie WOLF for example.... $120, $110, $90's. $70's, $60's.... and then point it out after it bounces in the $50's and claim brilliance.... I mean you can convince yourself of whatever you want to in your own head I guess, but from the outside looking in, as stock picking goes, 30% plus drops across the board in between, doesn't really cut it in the real world.

Make no mistake, I've had my share of losers posted here too. Where's TWLO? RH? >>> Losers.
The spacs I fell into the mania for>>> HUGE losers.

The difference is, I don't crow like a rooster when of these losers finally bounce like I'm god's gift to stock-picking. But if it works for you... whatever.

Where the rubber meets the road Stoney, we're both average at best when it comes to individual stocks. You are good at biotechs though.

That said, the real money is in prognosticating the market timing, the calls that predict the rise or fall of all stocks. Once you have that, it's easy to find a "darling" with a high beta.

One of these days, that light will come for you. In the meantime, leave the macro timing calls to the one that has proven their skill time and time again. Right here at ET. All for free. :p

  6. As used in Constitution, liberty means freedom from arbitrary and unreasonable restraint upon an individual. Freedom from restraint refers to more than just physical restraint, but also the freedom act according to one's own will.

Why is this rational not used by the hard line Supreme Court Judges. Alito said there was no right to abortion in the constitution. But there is a right to unreasonable restraint <---

That threshold has been crossed. It seems having lawyers is no longer needed in the Supreme Court, mini tyrants is all that need apply.

Did you know you have no right to drive a car? Yea that's a privilege not in the constitution.

  7. As used in Constitution, liberty means freedom from arbitrary and unreasonable restraint upon an individual. Freedom from restraint refers to more than just physical restraint, but also the freedom act according to one's own will.

Lets read that again Driving a car then falls under the act of " liberty. "

How did the Constitution provide liberty?
The Constitution guarantees many specific liberties—such as freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and freedom of assembly. Other vital freedoms are implied by language of the Constitution, such as the freedom to travel.

Implied but not guaranteed. If Judge Thomas decides you cannot travel that will be it-- no more travel. No more car driving is a possibility since cars are not specifically mentioned in the Constitution.

When were condoms first thought to exist?
Some contest that it was invented by Charles Goodyear in America1839, and patented in 1844. Other accounts attribute it to Thomas Hancock in Britain in 1843. The first rubber condom was produced in 1855, and by the late 1850s several major rubber companies were mass-producing, among other items, rubber condoms.

September 17, 1787 This is the cut off date. Condoms were not yet invented.
Judge Thomas undoubtedly is done having sex. One look at his wife will tell you that but if he decides you all are done as well. Condoms can be outlawed any day. What then?

This concluded my political rant-- what happens on slippery slopes. People get hurt. ~stoney

  8. Big Pete was in NYC and he came to our graduation lunch- OWCH$

That was quite a bill. I pitched him on SIGA. I don't know if his office will go for it but I made
    a good case.

SIGA Technologies Overview - Profitable Niche Business Buoyed by BARDA Contract
In its press release last Thursday, the New York based biotech describes itself as follows:

a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company focused on the health security market. Health security comprises countermeasures for biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear attacks (biodefense market), vaccines and therapies for emerging infectious diseases, and health preparedness.

Together with the US government - specifically the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority ("BARDA") SIGA has developed TPOXX, otherwise known as tecovirimat, or ST-246 initially as an oral treatment for human smallpox disease caused by variola virus. The oral version was approved in 2018 and is sold to governments for stockpiling purposes in case of an outbreak.

Oral TPOXX has a 7-year shelf life, meaning SIGA is consistently required to replenish the US stockpile, creating an attractive recurring revenue stream - on the company'sQ421 earnings call, SIGA CEO Philip Gomez told analysts that there are $300m of replenishment orders on the table across the next 3 years.

    >>> What will Monkeypox add to the rev potential of SIGA?

It's an open question and why we have added SIGA to the RADIO SAVANT PORTFOLIO.
