  3. Fed Day.

After that strange leak to the wall st journal one would think .75 is in the cards for today.

I would go 50. Initially the market would go down but then reverse. I don't see any reason to go .75 now. I would be open to .75 next time around. By then further signs of inflation abating should be revealed.

  6. Mizuho likes three electric vehicle stocks into second half rebound 06:41 NIO, TSLA, RIVN Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh says battery electric vehicle sales "could be recovering well" from lockdowns in March and April, led by China bounding back up 80% month-over-month in May. Global battery electric vehicle penetration in May was potentially at 11.4%, up from 8% in 2021, Rakesh tells investors in a research note. With lockdowns in the key China market easing, and government stimulus, a strong second half of 2022 recovery could benefit Nio (NIO) and Tesla (TSLA), says the analyst. Despite near-term constraints from logistics and chip shortages, he believes electric vehicle secular trends remain strong. Rakesh says Nio, Tesla and Rivian Automotive (RIVN) are all positioned well. He keeps Buy ratings on the three stocks

  9. I've always likes Wheels Up management. @$1.90 this maybe a very smart LT buy.

Not exactly IRA worthy but that's where I'm putting it!

Wheels Up initiated with a Buy at Goldman Sachs 05:09 UP Goldman Sachs analyst Noah Poponak initiated coverage of Wheels Up with a Buy rating and $5 price target. Wheels Up is a "leading company in an established and growing end-market, but one that is also fragmented and has substantial opportunity for an asset efficiency model," Poponak tells investors in a research note. The analyst says bottlenecks like supply chain and pilot availability have created a disconnect versus the company's "meaningfully higher" long-term earnings power. He sees an attractive entry point at current share levels.

  10. BLNK makes big buy)

Needham weighed in on the announcement by Blink Charging Co. (NASDAQ:BLNK) that it was acquiring SemaConnect for $200M. The deal for the vertically integrated provider of charging infrastructure in North America was noted to add ~13,000 EV chargers at over 1,800 sites and over 150K registered EV driver members to the company's mix.

Analyst Vikram Baghi and team estimated that BLNK paid ~17X EV/2021 sales for the business, which noted to be slightly below the average multiple of an EV charging peer group.

SemaConnect's DCFC technology is said to be more advanced than BLNK's, which Needham thinks can reduce time to market at a lower R&D burden. BLNK also gained 48 engineers through the acquisition in a tight talent market, as well as landing access to an expansive client and customer base which includes heavyweights like CBRE.

"We see eligibility for NEVI funding from newfound eligibility under the Buy America requirement (see note) as the biggest near-term deal benefits, as does management. Benefits we see are: manufacturing capacity, an expanded client and customer base, more developed DCFC tech, talented employee pool, and potential upsell opportunities to existing customers which will all strengthen BLNK's relative competitive position. SemaConnect's best in-class margins combined with potential for BLNK to cut its level 2 hardware COGS by ~30% should allow the company to reach mid-30's gross margin sooner."

Needham maintained a Buy rating on BLNK following the deal and raised its price target to $27 from $25. That PT implies almost 80% upside from the current price.

Shares of BLNK rose 0.20% premarket to $15.06 vs. the 52-week trading range of $13.60 to $49.00.

    Calling The Bottom in BLNK!
