    MAILBAG!!! :D

    Dearest Van,

Thank you for saving our investing club, the Galloping Grannies of Gatlinberg, a second loss on that stupid Stoney stock DV.
We lost the first time he wrote about it, and Beatrice wanted to buy it again when Stoney called it out at $28 a few weeks ago after earnings. Thankfully we have Van.

It's $25 now. We're on fixed incomes and can't endure 10% drops in two weeks. And tell that stupid Stoney that 4% inflation vs. 2% will bankrupt Social Security approximately 37% faster than it it is already slated to go bankrupt. I hope he stays in NY.

You're always welcome at our Wednesday luncheons Van, but don't bring that stupid Stoney with all his NYC ESG stuff. Keep him up there.

    Greatfully Yours,
    Gertrude in Gatlinberg.

  6. Nice pickup Ted-

There is a good sized debate going on about GitLab. Even at the HF where they pretty much copied your trade. /

My sense is guidance has been slashed and price hikes not yet fully in the system adds up to nice investment.

Guidance was below consensus. We think its value proposition and competitive positioning remain strong and we see price hikes having a much greater impact to 2025, which should position for growth re-acceleration.

I would say you get $42 out of this.

  8. GBA's Big Play of the Week Is Foot Locker-

    Regular stock & options.--

A ways back my son wanted a new pair of Nike sneakers. It was a very up to date KD model I believe and they quickly sold out at the Nike online shop. Wasn't i surprised to find them available at Foot Locker-! I had thought they lost that contract.

    GBA LOVES DANA TELSEY!

We have been fans for many many years of Dana's work. Now she has her own firm!

To qualify for the Option King and his 'System' we must have a feeling of good news coming....

Foot Locker upgraded to Outperform from Market Perform at Telsey Advisory 05:15 FL Telsey Advisory analyst Cristina Fernandez upgraded Foot Locker to Outperform from Market Perform with a price target of $50, up from $39. The analyst believes Monday's investor day could serve as a catalyst for the stock, with new CEO Mary Dillon outlining a transformation plan and financial objectives. Dillon has made changes to the leadership team and simplified the business by exiting international operations, while focusing on the core Foot Locker and Champs banners, the analyst tells investors in a research note.

Foot Locker initiated with a Buy at BTIG 02/06 FL, NKE BTIG analyst Janine Stichter initiated coverage of Foot Locker (FL) with a Buy rating and $55 price target. The analyst believes that the company's new CEO Mary Dillon could be a "catalyst for change" and comes at a critical juncture as Foot Locker accelerates its assortment diversification efforts to offset reduced allocations from Nike (NKE). While Foot Locker faces some near-term bumpiness, the new leadership should make it a healthier, more nimble company with access to a broader customer base, the firm tells investors in a research note.
