  4. I was talking with an editor who said I was like a DJ of The Market. I choose the best grooves and dictate the tempo and am a step ahead of the beat.

The market was screaming higher all S&P Sectors were up and yet I stood against the masses. I stood against the hype on CNBC and I stood against Cramer. When that fat fool went positive we went negative and he has foolish drool on his chin and I have a nice napkin.

My market timing reputation is one of the things people really respect about me. ~stoney

  5. Let's talk cycles. Art Cashon said it was a major cycle turn --- his knowledge seemed based on time rather than market action, I have a call into Art.

My Best Guess>>>> We were here

    2. Mark-Up Phase

At this stage, the market has been stable for a while and is beginning to move higher. The early majority are getting on the bandwagon. This group includes technicians who, seeing the market is putting in higher lows and higher highs, recognize market direction and sentiment have changed.

Media stories begin to discuss the possibility that the worst is over, but unemployment continues to rise, as do reports of layoffs in many sectors. As this phase matures, more investors jump on the bandwagon as fear of being in the market is supplanted by greed and the fear of being left out.

As this phase begins to come to an end, the late majority jump in and market volumes begin to increase substantially. At this point, the greater fool theory prevails. Valuations climb well beyond historic norms, and logic and reason take a back seat to greed. While the late majority are getting in, the smart money and insiders are unloading.

But as prices begin to level off, or as the rise slows down, those laggards who have been sitting on the sidelines see this as a buying opportunity and jump in en masse. Prices make one last parabolic move, known in technical analysis as a selling climax when the largest gains in the shortest periods often happen. But the cycle is nearing the top. Sentiment moves from neutral to bullish to downright euphoric during this phase.

  6. I question weather we were at a " euphoric " phase that is why I think we can go up again.

But we certainly we at the " stupid " stage when investors tried for the second or third time to go back to beaten down tech stocks. Unrewarded again... they will return in a different mindset.

  7. Financials
Here’s a chart from Bank of America that shows financials have been “left for dead.” They trade well below their historical P/E valuation, and they’re also historically cheap relative to the S&P 500.

I'm struggling with this sector-- it should have gone up as rates went up...

  8. the insurance company Chubb CB,+0.31% Insurers, considered part of the financials group, benefit from rising rates because they park most of their float in bonds. Insurers earn more as their bonds roll over into higher-yielding issues. Property and casualty insurers have pricing power again, in part because of the prevalence of weather-related natural disasters.

I like Chubb & use them. (Don't like paying them)

  9. Alright BIG announcement ---

The way we invest at GBA is we track stocks. When we feel we understand the name we act.

I feel I understand this name. I understand the story. I understand the price action.

The sector as a whole I am less sure on.

But sticking with the idea I feel EE can be bought now--

So I will send the idea into the HF after the initial open today<----------------------

    //////////////////////////////////////////////

This is a " catch-up " trade as I have explained. So with that in mind comes better downside protection... we are not going to go materially lower than the IPO price <---- That serves as a breaking mechanism. Since this energy play has not advanced over 100% in a year it will not fall at a great rate if the commodity market breaks.

I will look at LNG the stock for some sign of stability. I feel like that name has been down lately after having a not so good earnings report.

    STOCK OF THE DAY -
