Overall this means companies are having some troubles passing on higher prices to consumer.

This should not be a surprise with what we have been hearing about trading down right?

Margins could be impacted at many companies. Not so good for earnings.

And not good for inflation. Or is it?

Stable to lower prices to the consumer would actually help.
