It would have to be. This smells stinky. The SEC needs to step up. Why are the quality of the IPO's so bad here-- It's odd. And not a good sign for the market. CAVA seems so long ago and that was a time people were demanding some metrics of success and it's just jumped so quickly into this place where an IPO can go up 800%. God I want one!

No it was the $42's, and as bad calls go, it was a "gobstopper". They'll have to go up 100%+ for Stoney to break even. It is a good stock though... Stoney was just out of his league on this one, flipping a coin on an earnings play as usual completely clueless to fundamentals vs option writers for earnings on low volume stocks. The real play here was to buy the underlying, knowing that it is such a quality stock that the otm options would be way jacked up..... but that's graduate level stuff for a guy that doesn't even understand the concept of covered calls. Look at the premiums on the the December strikes vs Sept. >>> Solid stock, but the Sept's expire before 9/20 and Powell. Sept CPI is 9/13. The front running of that could start as early as next Tuesday. Week one in Sept at the latest. Depending on where the dip buying kicks in, there might be a little more pain prior to. Either way... write this down.... as promised, we have updated the 2023 prediction of "it will close lower than 2022" near term. Sept will close much higher than where we are now.... on the Naz at least. The verdict on the 2023 close is still out. But September.... watch out above.

Van LRN are for next month- They'll have to go up 100%+ for Stoney to break even. If the stk goes to $50 I don't see how this can't win. They should go up 300%. I don't know why the stock didn't take off, market conditions or it may just be a lousy stock. i had a B/O pegge3d because of the 1 yr holding pattern. One thing they did is drop the AI BS and that didn't seem to work in these market conditions. We are going up after options exp and NVDA's earn. That's the Zig but then we Zag. PE's are too high. Better play is to short the "contactless" on-line lawyer companies. Do you really think news like this will move Google? But using a long term horizon, AI will certainly hurt low float, low volume , overpriced (using any manifestation of fundamental analysis or of course (the highly lauded "VZ lemonade-stand analogy") "lawyer as a service" companies. Now.... the good ones...online sas lawyers.... they are using AI too, and margins on that are huge.... BUT.... as these things go.... that gravy train will be short lived when Google introduces "Google Legal" as a free service. "Do no evil". Isn't that Googles moto? Watch out below prepaid legal type companies.
