Financials Fidelity National Information Stock Gains on Report of Private-Equity Interest in Worldpay Updated July 3, 2023 8:54 am ET / Original July 3, 2023 8:13 am ET Fidelity National said in February it planned to spin off Worldpay. Fidelity National Information Services’ shares raced higher early Monday after a report cited two private-equity groups as potential buyers for its payments provider business Worldpay Group. Worldpay Group, acquired by Fidelity National FIS +5.36% (ticker: FIS) in 2019, is being valued at more than $15 billion, a Financial Times report said on Friday, citing five people familiar with the matter. Advent International and GTCR are the two private-equity groups weighing bids for a majority stake in the payments company, while large Wall Street banks have discussed providing funding, the report said. Fidelity National stock moved 9% higher to trade at $59.59 in premarket trading on Monday. The company, Advent, and GTCR didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment from Barron’s. Fidelity Nationaldeclined to comment to the Financial Times. It said in February it planned to spin off Worldpay.

PBC is a chronic disease in which the bile ducts in the liver are slowly destroyed. The trial met its primary composite endpoint, with 51% of patients on elafibranor 80mg exhibiting a cholestasis response compared to 4% on placebo. Cholestasis occurs when the flow of bile from the liver is reduced or blocked. Bile is fluid produced by the liver that aids in the digestion of food, especially fats.
