Really had a good trip, I was worried about my ear wax but I made it. (Never put my head underwater!) My son now grown up was a joy to travel with. I was worried things would be too boring for him with nothing to do but beach and eat. But to see the memories of Nevis come back to him in a good way... He was there maybe six years ago so much has changed... Just can't say enough about how cool my boy was and how he embraced my birthday etc.
Looks like I missed a tremendously boring ass week. On Friday, however, the month's last trading day, the Commerce Department will release its Personal Consumption Expenditures Report for May. This is the report the Fed watches more closely than any other. It measures changes in the prices of goods and services that consumers purchase, even if they substitute cheaper products. The expectations are for the PCE year-to-year change may come at 3%, maybe as low as 2.6%. The April report put the annual number at 2.7%.
Thursday is the debate. I have been warning everyone that we are early into politics and that combined with Friday's number combined with the start to a new qtr sets up a really tricky trading environment. Part of me wants to wait till the Olympics for the new thread, part of me wants to start after the debate.
I'll try and import a few pics -- always tricky. Right now I'm locked out of my email on this computer because my browsers are so old. I think I have to download Chrome. I need a whole new set upon my desk top.
Every stock you picked in the two weeks before you left is down at least 10%. I'm still fielding emails from the children regarding what they should do with Rubriks. That said... glad you guys had a good trip.
