Oh shit! Virgin Galactic Successfully Launches Crewed Galactic 07 Mission Published on June 8, 2024 13:00
This is some freaky shit. It's really going to happen, we are going to kill this beautiful planet and then blast off somewhere...
Virgin Galactic successfully launched its final commercial spaceflight using the VSS Unity spaceplane from Spaceport America in New Mexico today, marking a significant transition for the company as it prepares to introduce its new Delta class spaceplanes.
Mixed feelings here. I like the first space craft and it looks like that could go further and further into space. These new planes might not go s far out. Yet there could be a market for zipping around the world. Have to feel this is a giant waste- this co- Branson and Space- they could of done so much more. This pivot -- they should be more forward looking.. like populating Mars or somewhere better. Unlike the Unity spacecraft, which has four seats for paying passengers and can make a single spaceflight per month, the Delta spacecraft will have six passenger seats and will be capable of making up to eight spaceflights a month. Delta tickets will be priced at $600,000, compared with the current ticket price of $450,000. When Virgin Galactic reported its fiscal first-quarter results last month, the company said that the Delta class production schedule remains on track for revenue service in 2026. Virgin Galactic shares ended Friday’s session up 2.1%. The stock is down 65.5% in 2024, compared with the S&P 500 index’s SPX gain of 12.1%. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> All about the money. Wall Street is partially to blame and all these short sellers. SPACE. /// we are in new phase now......... This is a sector to watch.
really have to question this business plan- Is bad news good news for Virgin Galactic? As the analyst explains that Virgin Galactic confirmed in its last earnings report that it is on track to build two new Delta-class spaceplanes by early 2026. With two planes flying weekly, and charging more for tickets, the analyst anticipates Virgin Galactic will generate about $450 million in annual revenue and be free-cash-flow-positive to boot. All of these estimates tally with what Virgin Galactic itself has already told investors, and aim to allay worries about what happens before 2026 -- specifically, the fact that Virgin Galactic will retire the only spaceplane it is currently flying next month, and will spend the next two years with no means of generating any revenue at all.
WED IS THE KEY DAY-- “dot plot,” GATHER ROUND'' Ole' Hindenberg he be searching for a confirm. Wed is very important. everyone is interest rate obsessed myself included -they must come down!!! Politics... Will we get two rate cuts or one? That answer may sort of come wed-- the market will pivot off this news. The central bank — led by Chair Jerome Powell — is widely expected to hold borrowing costs steady for a seventh consecutive meeting, but there’s less certainly on officials’ rate projections. A 41% plurality of economists expect the Fed to signal two cuts in the closely watched “dot plot,” while an equal number expect the forecasts to show just one or no cuts at all, according to the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey. ____________________________________________________________________________
