  4. I try and be flexible in my investing styles. If I'm not buying deep discount, I'm buying a TA breakout and if I'm not waiting for an entry price I'm chasing a damn gummy. I do ST, I do LT
:)) maybe 1 year) I have trouble holding these days. I do channel trades and I do swing trades. I chase momentum. I do everything but scalp.

In other words, if not my arms... my feet

  5. It was a mad miscalculation by that pumper. The numbers did not add up. When GME was pushed the buying came from shady hedge funds with zero faith in the pumper. He did not have the numbers and the computers knew it and were waiting.

  6. What good came from this collapse. Fools look foolish.

If we reward this type of mad speculation, the entire art of investing is tarnished. The TV announcers are most to blame they just can't help themselves, it makes me crazy. Guys I respect on Bloomberg radio they will gush over these MEME moves, they build it up and it lures in innocent fools.

They really have blood on their hands. Shame on them.

  7. It also is a slap in the face to all individual investors. When these madcap hijinks go on they like to say on TV "the individual investor is back"... ahhhhh no. They have been back for quite a while buying real stocks. We are not them. Do not tarnish us with that brush.

You look to buy "deep discount" Stoney? You mean Stocks which the Market has sold off? Isn't that risky? The Market (Institutions) usually have more Fundamental knowledge than the Retail, so those discounted Stocks are usually cheap for a good reason, meaning they are usually unlikely to rebound much in the near term?

Ya know, he thinks we believe this stuff. And ya'll wonder why I mess with him.

I was at a bar with my quant buddies, and they shouted out "Hey Van! What stock should we burn Stoney with today?" Since I know he has no position as usual (and I don't want Stoney to lose money in reality), I said boys... run CMG up."

And what did we get? The biggest green daily candle outside of earnings in months.

CMG--> +$67.50. The "Stoney fade trade" © VZ 2022---- never fails. :sneaky:
