  1. I believe we have surpassed all prior GBA threads Radio Savant included. And this is most likely the most famous and most viewed thread ever here at ET.

I owned Torex briefly around $14 a share $Cdn right after they reported great numbers. Very strong fundamentals for this space. The stock mysteriously dropped next few days so I sold when it bounced back to just over my purchase price. It then shot way up and is $21.58. I suspected on the first move it was headed back up to $24 area but never pulled the trigger. There is a lesson there I suppose I got fooled by some group of random sellers. This is frequent on the TSX commodity area even the large mid caps act thin until some big buyers pile in. You really need to track the stocks get familiar with their trading patterns and I was new to Torex.

At current prices I wouldn't buy it probably better plays on a risk/reward basis.

Stocks I follow carefully now : Fortuna/Kinross/Endeavor Silver ( all well received earnings reports ), OceanaGold/Equinox Gold ( laggards with mediocre reports ), MAG Silver. I tried B2Gold Friday it hardly moved so I bailed for now. Some riskier stocks I followed closely but they may have rallied too fast short term are Bear Creek Mining, Calibre Mining, Surge Copper. Major Drilling could make new highs if the metal trend continues. I used to trade HudBay Minerals, Taseko, Lundin on the copper front but not for quite a while. At one point I successfully traded Taseko in a range ( roughly $1.60-$2.20 ) but it's now $4. Surge Copper bottomed out around 0.06 it's 0.22 now. I traded Hudbay around $6-$10 in the past it's now $13.98.

  7. <<Preakness Bets>>

It would be fun to have Dan win again but his odds are bad so we couple him with new entrant Tuscan Gold. Bet is WIN PLACE both have to hit.

    Mystik Dan Win
    Tuscan Gold Place

Then our long shot pick is a horse that likes to run in the slop. And the track is quite wet.

    Uncle Heavy To Win.
