Mr Camel... just saw this. On Ford... it had that big up day yesterday, I honestly don't think it's going anywhere fast. I mean sales are strong right now, but going forward I question how strong they'll be. You might take a small position, but I wouldn't get too crazy. Keep an eye on rebates. Both Ford and GM. If you start seeing a lot of commercials for things like 0% down and 0% for one year, or $2000 cash-back... that kind of stuff.... it's usually a sign that the stocks will remain flat at best for the next few quarters. Pretty simple Lynchian analysis, but they only do that when sales are slow. And if it happens months before the model year change... you can bet inventory is building. I think I heard Cramer say the other day that Ford was his biggest holding in his charitable trust. Ahhhh, not sure what he's thinking with that one. I bet he trimmed some yesterday though.
Daytrade today only... SNAP at $11.07. I think it'll run back up to $11.30 at least before the close. You have to buy a lot though to make any money. The options won't move much with earnings tomorrow night. That's a whole 'nuther trade. Hey are you in Stoney?! And I'm not being antagonistic or poking fun lol.... seriously interested in your opinion. Fwiw, I'm leaning bullish. That $11 level has really held for the most part since the last er. If it was any other stock, based on the chart, I'd say it's going to drop, but it's almost like in this particular case, WS is giving it the benefit of the doubt. "Show us you've righted the ship." But man if they miss... phew... watch out below. Options are pricing about a 21% move. $9 or $13
Stoney I was looking at this since they report tonight. You should do ok on this trade, it looks like the bar has been set pretty low, they should smoke eps if revenues come in at the estimate or higher. I think you've got a winner. CHDN--> $122.95
