I WOULDN'T SAY THAT. THE CHINESE MARKET IS BROKEN. NOW YOU CANNOT SHORT IN THE FIRST AND LAST HOUR. THIS IS A MANIPULATED MOVE UP AND IT'S WORKING BUT I HAVE NO FAITH IN THE CHINESE SYSTEM. BASICALLY WE HAVE AN OVERHEATED ECONOMY BECAUSE WE PAID EVERYONE TO STAY HOME DURING COVID. THIS IS WHAT DROVE INFLATION. THE VERY SAME BUMS WHO ARE MOANING AND BEMOANING INFLATION CASHED THOSE CHECKS. CHINA PAID OUT ZERO. CHINA ALSO ORDERED EVERYONE BACK TO WORK. FOR THEM RECOVERY IS MUCH MORE BUMPY AND THE PROPERTY MESS IN ON OUR 08' LEVEL. AGAIN THEN WE HELICOPTERED IN THE CASH~~ CHINA HAS PUT A STEP IN THAT DIRECTION BUT THEY AVE HARDLY MADE THEIR REAL ESTATE SECTOR SOLVENT. THERE WAS A VERY INTERESTING NY TIMES ARTICLE ABOUT THE CHINESE STOCK INVESTOR-- THEY ARE VERY MUCH HURTING AND DO NOT TRUST THEIR OWN STOCKS. THEY SAY WE HAVE TO BE CRAZY TO INVEST IN CHINA. WE SHOULD PROBABLY LISTEN. THE AUG HIGH WAS RIGHT HERE AT $45 WE SHOULD BE ON LOOK OUT FOR FAILURE... I THINK THE TIME TO SELL WILL BE THIS WEEK OR NEXT. ~SI

My nephew dates a member of the Algier family so I am a bit biased... RE: FLYW Fred Alger Management Alger Weatherbie Specialized Growth Fund stated the following regarding Flywire Corporation (NASDAQ:FLYW) in its fourth quarter 2023 investor letter: "Flywire Corporation(NASDAQ:FLYW) is a payments enablement and software company. The firm provides vertical-specific payments technology and software primarily for colleges and universities, but also for clients in healthcare, travel and business-to-business (B2B) industries. The company's solutions integrate with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as NetSuite, which allow organizations to optimize the payment experience of end customers. During the quarter, shares detracted from performance after the company reported fiscal third quarter revenues slightly below consensus estimates. Management attributed the revenue weakness to incremental foreign exchange pressure, a slightly lower mix of students in India choosing to convert Rupees to US dollars on the Flywire platform, and somewhat disappointing pushouts of deployments in the education and healthcare verticals, White we believe long term company fundamentals remain intact, we acknowledge that the payment mis in India may take longer than one quarter to normalize."
Last quarter Flywire reported revenues of $123.3 million, up 29.5% year on year, beating analyst revenue expectations by 2.9%. It was a mixed quarter for the company, with optimisc revenue guidance for the next quarter. On the other hand, EPS fell below expectations during the quarter. This quarter analysts are expecting Flywire's revenue to grow 21.4% year on year to $88.66 million, slowing down from the 42.1% year-over-year increase in revenue the company had recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.01 per share.
