  1. Fatah officials in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post that Hamas militiamen had been assaulting many Fatah activists since the beginning of the operation last Saturday. They said at least 75 activists were shot in the legs while others had their hands broken.

Meanwhile, sources close to Hamas revealed over the weekend that the movement had "executed" more than 35 Palestinians who were suspected of collaborating with Israel and were being held in various Hamas security installations.

Fahmi Za'arir, a Fatah spokesman in the West Bank, accused Hamas of "executing" a number of Fatah detainees. He said the Fatah leadership knew of at least two Fatah men who were shot dead by Hamas after being released from prison. He named them as Nasser Muhana and Saher al-Silawi.

(OCHA) All of Gaza City hospitals have been without mains electricity for 48 consecutive hours, depending entirelyon back-up generators. The hospitals warn that the generators are close to collapse.

At the Shifa hospital, collapse would have immediate consequences for 70 intensive care unit (ICU) patients including 30 in the neonatal care who are connected to machines. ICUs throughout the Gaza Strip are overloaded.

The security situation is also preventing medical staff from reaching hospitals. Ambulances are experiencing difficulty in reaching the injured because of continuous fire.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society continues to work around the clock in order to assist the population. From Friday to Saturday midday, its ambulances transported 78 wounded to hospitals. Fifteen fatalities were alsotransported.

Today, UNRWA has had to close four out of its 18 health centers because of hostilities in the vicinity. Forthe second consecutive day, Israeli authorities have refused to allow an ICRC emergency medical team intoGaza to help the staff of Shifa.

An Emergency Operational Room was set up by the PA Ministry of Health (Ramallah) in collaborationwith WHO to follow up the health situation in Gaza. The operation room will provide assessments ofrequirements (pharmaceuticals, consumables, equipments and spare parts), follow up on the response of international community, and address referrals of injured and other patients.

When one declares to wipe a State of the earth and then launches 1000's of missiles into that State they better not make themselves dependent on that State.

Hamas should have been drawing electricity from Egypt. Hamas should have cut all services from Israel and find alternate sources for those supplies. Hamas should have been developing a strong economy to support its own people.
Once you have a strong base then attack.
Arafat ,Hamas, and the Palestinians are part of the most ignorant society in all of history.

  4. They could not have. Egypt, Jordan, the West Bank, Saudi Arabia, other Gulf States, they all hate Hamas, they are all rooting for Israel (unbelievable as it may be). Only a bunch of lunatics like sumosam, Ahmadinejad and a few others still support Hamas. Too bad all sumosams in the world don't generate enough energy to fire even one Qassam.

  5. Why wouldn't they, considering that Hamas and other ultra-right Islamist groups hate the moderate Muslim states almost as much as they hate Jews and the West. According to their reading of the Koran, it is necessary to behead any Muslim who doesn't buy into their reading of the Koran, or any Muslim that is not righteous enough, in their opinion. Of course, they can also behead anyone who rejects the Prophet (PBUH) as the only God, which would include anyone who's not a Muslim. If these people gain control of the Middle East, go long basket-weavers and sword-makers.
