  2. And this is wrong. No one deserves special rights.

Kinda like jews? What has rich got to do with being
discriminated against? Just reading over some of the
FAGGOT responses on this thread its quite clear that
they get discriminated against even when they are rich.

People were uncomfortable with blacks too at one time.
Remember those "whites only" laundry mats? hmmm?

Many organizations, including the boy scouts, are uncomfortable
with having ATHEISTS around! Sheesh, they kicked out an
atheist kid that made the news this year. It was ruled that
they had a right to do this, since they were a private organization
but it kinda makes you wonder why you therefore cant
    have private whites only clubs....hmmmm....

Maybe, maybe not. The rules should just be applied evenly.
If you allow the voicing of religious beliefs in the workplace,
then you also better allow the SATANISTS to voice THEIR
religious beliefs in the work place. Does this create a
hostile workplace for the christians? You cant have it both ways.

Professional dress codes can solve the problem of
    cross dressing at work :D

Yep... this is the same attitude that kept women and blacks
    down for decades.

This is why atheists are the coolest people I have ever met.
They have no BS religious crap stuffed in their heads.
They are open minded, and are tolerant of anyone who
is different AS LONG AS they are not violating the individual
rights of another person. They tend to have a rational
moral code, instead of a fairy book moral code which teaches
hatred against certain groups of people.

  3. Yeah, those atheist don;t bother anyone...that's why they want the pledge to have under god removed, have it removed form money, are against private school prayer ect....if they were true atheists, they wouldn't;t care...they would snicker as we prayed to whatever god we choose....they are so full of shit.

    BTW, wasn't;t Hitler an atheist?

  4. our government should not have anything to do with any religion. if you want to say your prayers, go ahead...but religious crap shouldn't be on our money, etc. if a bill is worth $10, it should say it's worth $10 on it. who the fuck needs, "in god we trust" and all that kind of bullshit on our government printed money?!
what's your point? who cares if he was. throughout human history, i would bet more religious people have killed people than atheists have. i'm not religious and i try not to kill any living thing, including bugs. i probably appreciate all forms of life more than most religious people do.

i probably appreciate life in general more than a religious person. i think of myself as just one animal living on one planet in the universe for a very small period of time. i believe this is all i will ever have. i do not have a religious viewpoint, like, i am here and everything is here for me with a perfect heaven to go to when i die.

  5. Hitler was a catholic! Born and raised.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord." - Hitler. (Mein Kampf)

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter." -Hitler

"Christ was the greatest early fighter in the battle against the world enemy, the Jews . . . The work that Christ started but could not finish, I--Adolf Hitler--will conclude."

Hitler was also never excommunicated from the church.

Then there are other quotes where he bashes
christianity. So its not real clear, but he as born a catholic,
    and technically died a catholic.

    Furthermore....
No, the atheists are not bothering anyone. They are
asking for EQUAL treatment since the pledge and
the "in god we trust" are a blatant violation of separation
of church and state which discriminates against them.

I suppose if the dollar bill said: "In Satan we trust", that
the christians wouldn't have a problem at all huh?

There is a difference between bothering people by
actively telling them they are sinners, gonna burn in hell,
that they are immoral, telling them they can'y marry, etc,
and defending your rights as guaranteed by the constitution.

If you think defending your rights is "bothering people" then
    you have some serious issues.

Would you have voted against equal rights for women too???
Women were BOTHERING people when they were fighting
for their equal rights, huh? :D

  7. Which is exactly why you value life more than the general religious person. You only have one, and it is short.
How much value can a human life have if it's nothing more
than an infinitely tiny stepping stone to an eternity in heaven?

No wonder those assholes flew a plane into the twin towers.
    Gotta love religion :D

Funny how everything seems to go back to that.
All this gay bashing stems directly from it.

Religion was used to support slavery and keep women
    down throughout history as well.

Here we go again... another flame war religious thread.
    Wooo hooo :D

  8. Wrong.

You have it backwards. The people being bothered
are the atheists who are having religion stuffed
down their throat via the government addition
of religious crap to their money and their pledge of
allegiance. ( WHICH WAS NOT ORIGINALLY THERE! )
