TM, I am truly thrilled to say that for once I truly agree with you 100%. This is beside my point, but I too am absolutely sick and tired of hearing homosexuality promoted -- yes, it's UNAVOIDABLE in the media! -- as this alternative lifestyle choice, and not as the totally abnormal, deviant behavior that it is. That doesn't mean I want to prevent gays from doing it, but just because they enjoy so much let's not pretend there's nothing abnormal about it or that such behavior is not alterable. ESPECIALLY, let's not fall into the trap of gagging public discourse on it! -- which is EXACTLY what the gays want, and this "gay marriage" crap is just another tool to achieve it with. The point about union with a dog is actually quite important. Why not? If we can just arbitrarily redefine marriage to mean whatever the next pack of feel-good deviants want it to, why not union with a dog? Why not promotion of incest and bestiality as healthy lifestyle alternatives? Or paedophilia? Think I'm kidding? There's already fringe nut jobs crusading for it. Only the scary thing is that there not always so "fringe" any more. They now come in the form of highly educated and influential "sex experts" like Andrea Dworkin. Let's think ahead folks, and plan the kind of futures we want to say our children live in.
Do you? Why is the onus only on me? I've argued my points well. Any idiot can see that they're not of the sort that require data for verification. Let me just ask you -- are you actually questioning whether some men have been, have "thought", they were heterosexual and only later moved towards homosexuality? Are you denying that this has occurred? Are you denying that some men have been formerly gay and are now heterosexual? Or "think" they are? Are THESE points you require data from me to substantiate? Lol. Sorry if I misunderstood this. I imagined that some things were so obvious they were taken as a given. Let me know. I'm sure with a quick browse of the net -- which, incidentally, you could also do yourself, if truth was of any concern to you -- and dig up plenty of cases of both. I actually know someone who falls into the latter category (gay --> straight) that I could probably arrange contact with for you if you wish. Like I said, I thought we were accepting this as a given. You know, if these are the points you're requesting data for, it really doesn't say much for your knowledge of the issue.
I have no problem with gays or gay rights...Im for gay rights actually...but i think they are going overboard.....I have some friends that are gay and the reason we are friends is that they act normal in their everyday life and they DON"T TALK WITH A LISP!!! I get very offended when a gay person tells me that they totally normal in every way and are just like me but choose a different sexuality.....but then they talk like a f*ing stroke victim!! Why are you lisping???? why would you have a speech impediment because you like the same sex?? Im heterosexual, should I walk with a limp??? wouldn't;t it be weird if all heterosexual men walked with a limp in their left leg???? My point is, if everything is as normal as the next guy, act it....talk like a normal person, stop the exaggerated sway and get rid of the cross dressing and be proud and be normal.
Think about it?? what actual impact will it have...I still guess im missing something...they are a minority, which exist in our society already; pay taxes, go off to War... You say that this thread is about only gay marriage and only that..ok..exactly tell me how two people who i dont give a fuck about getting married and butt fucking each other affects us, as a society.....please be specific and feel free to post some links to back your assumptions up...will it impact the way i pay my taxes, go to work, pay my bills , make my money??? I want toknow exactly why this impacts us so greatly... you see, it seems to be like it only impacts people who dont like Gay people..period...let me know. im being serious..I just want to know...thank you in advance for your reply.. p.s. and Ill stay on this thread as long as i fucking want...peace
There are a lot of misconceptions about homosexuality. First of all, let's cover the facts. Homosexuality / Heterosexuality is NOT a black and white issue. There are degrees of each within everyone. Some people have hardly any of one within them, but the two do exist in every person alive. Guys -- Ever smack a good friend on the ass? How about after football practice? That could be technically considered a homosexual action. Ever fathom what it might be like to kiss another guy? I'm sure everyone has either thought what it might be like or has actually tried it. The Greeks did it. A young guy would get sexual practice with an older male in that society. Homosexuality is abnormal but is NOT inherently wrong. The normal sexual action for humans takes place between a man with a penis and a woman that has a vagina. This is how babies are made. Most people practice heterosexual sex. This means that those who practice homosexual sex are abnormal -- or they are not within the norm. This doesn't make it wrong intrinsically -- it just makes their actions different when compared to the whole of society. Within the United States, strong homosexuality will, more than likely, always be shunned by the majority. Even though I accept homosexuals, I do not agree with their sexual preferences. If I see two guys french kissing in the mall, I'm probably going to stare. If I'm with my friends, I'll probably make a comment about it. Anyone who does something that they know is not within social norms should expect to receive extra attention. Although I do accept homosexuals and have homosexual friends, I prefer they keep their PDA private. It is a touchy subject, but it definitely deserves to be talked about in the open. We talked about this in college classes where some people continued to refer to homosexuals as faggots. "Oh, I knew this faggot once from highschool. What was that queer's name? .... " Obviously, this isn't a tactful way to talk about the subject but some people don't really care. Bisexuality in females is concerned hot. For some reason, homosexual action between two females is generally regarded as a huge turn on for men and even for many women. Why is it en vogue for two women to start kissing in a bar but not for two men to do the same thing? Think about that ...
1st of all....I love it when you get angry!!!! 2nd....It will impact the way you pay taxes.....any tom dick and harry ( no pun) can get the same tax deductions as a married couple.....also, they can now qualify for hud loans as minority married couples......shall i continue? jobs that once went to tru minorities like yourself are now going to be taken by this FAKE minority....Apartments that low income minorities got fed help with will be available to tom and dick...
First of all, it is pretty cheap to take my quote and stick words in their...but your insistence on bringing Blacks into this raises a great point.......Blacks cannot choose their skin color and have been through a great deal in this country......gays have jumped on their 'coat-tails" and claimed this 'minority' status like they are one in the same.....If i was a Black leader id be very offended by the fact that many minority programs set up specifically to help black and hispanic americans are now the fodder of gay america
