My fav comedian of all time. He understood what was going on. Most never will. Was sad to see him go...
Just wanted to write same... But IMO its not sad, seeing that much trough human nature, might be pleasant to go.
Finding information is the easy part, what happens next is key. The early steps are processing information, converting it to knowledge and applying said knowledge to current problems. However, what I think really makes the big difference is coming up with mental abstractions for these experiences that will let you use this approach on similar but not identical problem. Finance (and that's what makes it so exciting) is a non-stationary field and new questions/situations arise all the time. Being able to apply systematic and empirical thinking to the current environment is the key to staying alive and successful.
I watch those animal channels and see no difference with humans. Just more processing power to scheme, build more complex langage etc. Other animals have simpler means. Outer brain not operating so well... Will those animals evolve far enough to make land owning laws or the zoo is gonna be wiped out before? Also im confused. Is ant nest natural or technological building? Same question about cities... I think i saw a city on natGeo. Of course school is the place where brains get boxed, no questions about that. Learning to use the boxes at right times is also hard.
Zombies. And it seems that we are getting there every day, slowly but surely. The whole system (starting with the so called "education system") has been designed to eliminate critical thinking and produce obedient workers, on a worldwide scale. Good point, 931.
Neocortex removed and animals ready probably. Anyway what does neocortex serve... In my case probably animal instincts within.
