Gasoline heading to $3 and more

  1. MRWSM

    MRWSM

I did see a prototype with roof mounted solar panels, that would be cool. Here's a good site explaining the charging side. They say it's like 0.72 cents on average for 60 miles of electrical driving. Compare that with $3 a gallon plus you save the trip to the gas station, now you're saving even more and have the satisfaction of not feeding the big oil terrorist. You can charge with a 220v plug or even a 110v if you don't mind waiting. ALTI is coming out with a nano battery that charges in a few minutes. Take a look at this site.

  2. That's pretty cool!

A few companies around the world (mostly Australia and Arizona, U.S.) are working on nano-tech advanced solar panels. One is using them to split the hydrogen out of water. Another is focusing more on artificial photosynthesis. Nano tech has increased the efficiency of there solar panels.

Picture that.... Your car runs on recycled water and your house doesn't run on electricity and natural gas, but instead it uses carbohydrates. :)
