I think he doesn't understand how being the worlds reserve currency works. People sell shit to USA. They get dollars. Dollar stays strong. This means cheap US financing. If he wants to be truly competitive, US dollar needs to come down massively. That means not being the reserve currency anymore. Weak(er) dollar... more expensive financing. This will hurt the US bottom line....
