  1. the world is full of gold owners who got lucky.

their losses on everything else are the problem

gold only doubled. it didnt go up 1000%. doubles are easy. stocks double in a day. in an hour.

i called GMCR a scam long ago. you could hav emade a lot more shorting that than any gold play

Uh, it's more than doubled over the last 10 years...

But you have a point. Its price hasn't reached the exponential growth of tech stocks or other bubbles. It's clearly in a healthy, long-term secular bull market. You made a good argument for that without even trying.

  6. You sound like someone who will be riding this down to 900.

Think not. Ive been mostly right for over a decade here.

    Worry. A lot.

    1569 now.

these kind of retracements are nothing unusual for LT trends. some commentators have said gold might bottom$1100 to 1200. one should be so lucky to pick up gold in that range

  8. why would that be lucky? are you a gold fanatic?

you'd be better off buying a pair of Elvis's panties, for a long term gain.

To add to your existing collection. ;-)

OK, I saw you call silver going to $10 in another thread and now gold to $900.

Your feet will be held to the fire on these. Hope you don't mind being held over it by your ears. Good luck with these calls!
