  1. He lives in Hawaii. He probably got distracted by the ocean. I know I would - for weeks at a time probably.

  2. He doesn't trade everyday. if there is nothing of interest stock wise he goes back to sleep.

i'm testing out a different entry strategy on these gapping stocks. it is bringing a mechanical aspect to the trade.

i'll let ya all know the results (good or bad) later on as it's too early to tell right now.

And don't forget, the way to make money in this game is to control your losses!!

  7. I've been wondering the same thing. I been playing the gaps but since going live I haven't been doing to well. This morning I played RECN. Nice gap and go play. Got long at the open at 28.65 but paniced when it retraced a little and got out at 28.53. Went long again at 29.26 and got stoped out again. Missed out on the whole ride up even though my initial calls were both right. My stops were just set to close and it's really starting to frustrate me. Any one else playing the opening gaps?

He got hooked up with a young Hawaiian girl and he could no longer get up at 3 am to trade the gaps :p

  9. Yeah I am. Played COOL yesterday as a test and rebounded nicely. +.12 on a $3.00+ stock. Not my usual move for such a penny stock. But I was in only 5K shares.

  10. I was looking at that to but it wasn't shortable for me and the commissions I would have to pay on the lower priced stocks are pretty high for me. I played AVID on the gap down this morning. I caught only a small part of the overall move. Short from 42, covered at 41.75. Priced droped to the 40's last time I looked at it.
