I usually don't play stocks below $20 but I have 2 that I'm watching this morning that are right at 20 now. VPHM COGT Entry is the breakout of the opening 10 minute bar. Exit is 1. closing of the gap or 2. Trailing stop which I place at the high/low of the previous 5 minute bar. What I'm trying to catch is an open like HGSI yesterday. Although I exited at the gap closing, you can see that it had some good movement. Using the high of the previous 5 minute bar as your stop would have allowed you to catch most of that move.
No trigger on either. It's an opening play so if it doesn't trigger before 10am, then I don't get in.
