... LOL... Didn't expect someone to post that chart in ET. So buzzy... you seem to know Gann more than me so can you elaborate on the chart you posted. As a matter of fact, I've got quesitons about Gann on my own so can you do the chat instead of me... it'll make my life easier
Quote from buzzy2: "pure" gann theory is an impossible. after reading the gann courses you realize they are INCOMPLETE. You are NOT going to achieve 90% winning ratio or 200% in two weeks just parroting Gann materials. Personal interpretation and elaboration is unavoidable if you want to get something useful out of it. My guess is that it was Gann's intention to leave them that way so the student EARNED his system. Gann purists never make any money, I can't see how, given the fact that "pure" Gann is incomplete and useless. " I read somewhere , I think it was here, that Gann's work as compiled by other people after his death was incomplete and the key to his trading secrets may have disappeared with him. What I read on this thread seems to corroborate that. If this is the case, only part of the puzzle is available; how difficult is it to study what is left in terms of time and money and make it usable ? In his book, The Daytrader, Borsellino mentions he used Gann charts that he had bought for a huge amount of money, do you have to spend thousands too to learn about Gann?
I've seen this chart on Tradersworld long time ago. Are you Miles Wilson Walker? Sorry if I misspelled your name or if your not him. If you're him then you wrote books on Gann Astrology and Elliot Wave right!!! Good Trade. Trend.
Hmmm.... I thought Plumber wanted to see screen shots from your custom software you claimed to have built. I thought you were Walker because you posted his material. Well... No Problem. It's all goooood!!! Good Trade. Trend
No, I'm not going to post my screenshots, they would give away too much. Actually, Gann gives away a lot of things in the soybean charts, things that are not in his courses.... that's why I posted that chart, for those who hath understanding...
Agree.... Dr. Baumring from Investment Centre also considered the BEAN CHART very important. I think this chart started him to do research about GANN. (Maybe I'm wrong). trend
LOL... yes guru... If personal interpretation is a large part of Gann... there's nothing too much to give away... ... LOL... buzzy2 would you mind if I ask you a Gann question?
I use Tradestation but I think it's more of a personal preference. Unfortunately, if you really want to use Gann, handwritten charts are best.
