  1. Bullshit, not everybody qualifies for those programs.

Yup, if you have cancer, show up in the emergency room, that would take care of it.

  2. No, of course not everybody qualifies for those programs. You actually have to need them. You can't be wealthy and be admitted to them, as it should be.

If you don't like the programs, fine, argue for a change in the program. But there's a LONG way between making changes in Medicare and single payer obamacare euronadian style trainwreck that just got shoved down america's throats despite the fact that the majority was against it.

  3. And yes, if you do show up in the emergency room with symptoms of cancer, they will generally test you for cancer. If you have cancer they treat you. If you cant afford treatment, they put you on medicare or medicaid. That's usually what happens for most Americans who contract cancer and can not pay. I'm sure you are not in the medical field and have no clue what you are talking about, or you wouldn't be spewing this erroneous bullshit.

  4. You are repeating talking points now, Obamacare does not even have a public option let alone it being single payer. And those who opposed the bill while it was being passed also included people who wanted things like the public option.

And whatever the Euro model is, the US model is worse both in terms of cost and output.

" We manage to spend more on health care per capita than any country in the world, while being ranked 37th in the world by the WHO, 72nd in the world for healthiness of its citizens, and 19th among industrialized countries (last) by the Commonwealth fund"

  5. I believed that until I actually experienced euro healthcare. My family members in the medical field told me as well... Like I said there are exceptions in europe, switzerland is probably the most notable. But their system resembles the USA far more than it does a typical euro system. I could live with us adopting the swiss healthcare system, so long as we adopted thier policy on gun rights along with it...

Better "output"? LOL, you've got to be kidding me. People in the USA think that 11 days is a long wait for an MRI scan!! ROFL!!!! Someone in Spain, the UK, or Canada would be selling their mother to get a scan or test done that quickly. Like I said, you can spew all the socialist sources you want, but the reality on the ground is often a very different story. Such is often the case with health care.

  6. Ya right, let's ignore every stat and everything else I pointed and just compare wait times for elective procedures. Obviously talking about cost and outcome is socialist, but explicitly talking in support of the tea party doesn't make you a tea partier.

My wife has had to wait 8 months for an MRI for her knees (torn meniscuses), but the upside is that the MRI was "free", and her replacement knees will be free as well.
