I can back it up with a picture i took. Because i didnt think it was possible, But apparently it is and some people get it in fortnite Im talking about in game ping when playing a match
0 ping is almost impossible, unless you are wired directly into the server, so I can't wait for that picture. By the way, Fornite isn't really a reliable source and isn't what I was asking about.
800mbit is absolutely meaningless when it comes to trading as well (I am assuming you are referring to download speed). Receiving exchange data doesn't even takes 1/100 of that and fiber is superior to cable in every way, not only because of speed, but mainly because of latency/ping. Please post that latency test that I asked about earlier, from your home to a location near to where your brokers servers are located.
Zero ping bullshit seems to be a thing within the Fortnite community. Apparently they display that within the game, just to round decimals and they believe it.
I know its obviously not zero ping for the Network But it is extremely low compared to game average of being 50-150 On average its under 10 for me on cable under 20 on wifi and around 25-30 for my kids ps5 on same network other games as well i get much lower ping than average for every game i have And with cumcast the connection speed does matter for ping. When i have lower speed subscription ping is higher i have more connection drops and speed inconsistencies overall. They silently prioritize higher bandwidth customers obviously because they make more money on those so they dont want them to complain. They maintain cables to your house better when you get higher speed also
where do i find that info? im using webull for example. they dont show any of that info in their program as far as i know.
look yall getting deep into this bs again. all i asked is whether gaming laptops would benefit in trading on the laptop end i dont care about the rest of the network as i have no control over it. stop with this fn brain fuckery it was a simple question about laptop wifi nothing else alli care about is minimizing lag from my laptop to whatever router the coffee shop has. thats all i can control mmkay? why you even bring up this bs when you know its irrelevant?
I'll answer your question, but you sound like you aren't going to accept it anyway, we where only trying to help and to figure out the quality of your connection. But to answer your question, there will be absolutely zero difference between a regular gaming laptop and a regular laptop when it comes to internet connectivity. It comes down to the quality of the WiFi card a gaming laptops don't have better WiFi cards per definition.
