you don't count calories, so what do you count that tells you to stop eating more? your physique is off the charts, pls don't take me as being critical.
As explained in the first post of this thread, I narrow my window of eating so that I can only eat during those particular hours of the day (Noon - 8PM). So instead of counting calories, I'm counting hours I suppose. I find that three meals per day with each one like the one shown above is plenty for me. The only thing I add to that with any significant calories is a protein shake that I sometimes have after my workout (240 cals).
I am eating 5-6 meals a day right now. -Breakfast (as discussed) -2 lunches both consisting of about 8-10oz of chicken and the 80g or so of some carb source (rice, sweet potatoes, etc) -Dinner- Red meat at least 8-10oz and then whatever my wife makes carb wise. Usually potatoes, broccoli, green beans or whatever -then a shake before bed, 16oz of milk, 2 scoops of true mass, peanut butter, and a banana all blended up. The 6th if I have one is either a protein shake after the gym, a smaller preworkout type meal, or something along those lines
That's way too healthy of a diet to gain weight. You need to eat crap if you want to gain pounds. Eat breakfast, whatever you like. A candy bar and bag of chips mid morning. A nice, high fat cheap meat beef sandwich and fries for lunch. Another candy bar and chips mid afternoon. A gyro and fries for dinner, wash it down with a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Finish the night off with some chocolate chip cookies and milk. I guarantee weight gain. Worked for me. I wish I was joking, but that was pretty much my diet for several years. Oh, and don't do shit but sit on your ass. You'll get all the fat you want and then some.
It takes literally 60 seconds to boil water for oatmeal. Make a double serving of oatmeal with a handful of blueberries and take it on the go with you.
Yeah, tomorrow I'm just going to try and make it and get it a bit runnier than usual so I can chug it on my drive. I might do a protein bar or something with it. The goal is to get up and start going to the gym in the mornings, I'll probably get started with that next week instead of the evening.
Yeah, most people are experts on getting fat. Actually I'd like to see the answer to your question. I have no idea what that would one would have to eat, gain weight but in a healthy fashion. I'd guess a ton of carbs through massive qty's of vegetables. Anyway, for breakfast I like to boil a few eggs Sunday evening and then have a hard boiled egg or two in the morning during the week. Easy and quick. Try to find a protein bar that isn't loaded with sugar. I also like a couple celery sticks with some low sugar natural peanut butter or almond butter. That is all pretty easy and quick to prepare and reasonably healthy.
After I eliminated milk from my diet, my allergies remained. Strange how that works. My allergies are pretty mild tho. I drink alot of milk. I think it might be time to reexamine it..
