if your trading less then 1mill per order then you will be fine, i do think thats it is a real ecn with out fxcm messimg with the spreads. but i just don't know why they are showing only 1mill on the bid and ask, there LQ is very thin and why i don't know becuse they are one of the bigger brokers out there, you will think they can get a better deal from there banks, who knows but it is the real deal if you want to trade less then 1mill per order.

if you have 35k i think you can still go with pfgbest currenex platform, make sure you tell them you want 1% if that what you want. and no mb trading cost to much, i will never trade with them untill they lower there fees.

  3. Thanks JDL

I just want to kick off with something that is correct in the first place and grow into it slowly without the usual course changes.

It took years and years of pissing around with futures before I settled down to be happy with what I have.

I just want to apply some of that hard earned knowledge to good use in Fx and the hardest part seems to be the Brokerage end.

Wihout an independent referee such as CME, Fx is a little like the wild west without the Sheriff.

  6. Thank you operator.

Very briefly what are their spreads, fills, reliability commissions.

    regards

I should add that fxcm offer retail, active and pro ... does this mean that they separate them like Toyota and Lexus or do they all eat lunch together

  8. Before you (or anyone else) says anything I know they're a bucketshop but do me a favor, just have a look at Oanda when you're comparing brokers, it costs nothing to look. Compare quotes, fills, liquidity, and spreads, not forgetting to take commissions into account.

With the exception of the problems they had a while back I can honestly say I've been pleased with them overall.

Obviously your choice, just thought I would mention it is all.

    (JDL save your breath, I ain't playing :) )

Oanda was very fast for me with deposit/withdrawals. If you plan on trading with API with Oanda then you won't like them...
