  1. Could you explain that ignorant comment further? Nothing wrong with accepting credit card for payment.

  2. Look, they take credit card payments, which would raise flags if people were sending 50k or something. But for a few hundred or couple thousand, I don’t find that troubling. Remember they are the casino. The odds are in their favor. So they are trying to get you to play as easy as possible. Remember, they charge $10 to issue a check on a micro account. CC’s charge about 1.8% on transactions, probably less for the larger volumes that FXCM is probably doing. So on a $1000 deposit, they’re paying less than $20. Because they are on the other side of your trade, if you lose, they keep all your money minus the CC fee. If you win, they lose their money minus the spread, plus the CC fee, minus the $10 check fee. I don’t see why that’s a problem. Why don’t you people spend a little less time worrying about whether it’s a scam, and start trying to figure out a way to take their money. I can already think of 2 flaws in the FXCM system that can be exploited. I’ll give you a hint. Stops

  6. See what I mean Eric215, the two posts above ('TradingPilot' and 'Stefo') are typical examples of the naysayers I was talking about.

Sure they're just troll posts, but some people actually think like that for real!

  7. They're trying to get you to spend your money as easy as possible, and not just your money!

You compare a rogue bucketshop marketmaker to a casino? I don't know which casinos you've been in where the dealer looks at your hand and then decides which card he deals you, lol :D

Yes, I hear you. If I replied to every no it all post from these people I would have no time left and cramped wrists. Sometimes, though, there are interesting things to read on here so this site does serve its purpose from time to time. I also do like to contribute occasionally to help out the newer traders who really want to learn. We just have to be selective I suppose. If you want to give it a go, I'll watch.

  10. What, replying to the trolls? Nah, you can't educate those types of people, they're not even that good at trolling, the quality of today's troll isn't what it used to be :D

They used to be entertaining but even that's gone downhill!

You're right though, in among all the noise and dross there's sometimes a little gem of information that can be useful, rare but it does happen!
