I came from index futures to trade with fxcm, and have been with them for a few months. I read all of the criticisms AFTER signing up with them, and have watched my trades very nervously. A couple of weeks ago, I got stopped out of a very very steep price spike on USD/CAD without any news reports, and my stop was very wide, so it cost me some money. I was very suspicious. About 3 hours after the trade, I received notification from FXCM about a "possible bad spike", and FXCM encouraged me to file a protest if I lost money on the spike. I filed the protest, and within a day my funds were reinstated. I am much too green in forex trading to know the tricks to look for, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see the proactive repsonse. Maybe the lawsuit has caused some changes. Maybe only the angry customers post on forums. I will continue to watch with a suspicious eye, but everything has worked well, so far. Thats my take.
oh boy...this is a real story: long time ago I was at a casino in an exotic location. I started having a winning streak in roulete. I made three big winners and I placed my forth bet. I won again but before I tried to collect my marks I saw another guy I never seen around the table before taking them. I protested and security came. I said those were my marks. They said "fine, we have systems to check this out. Go in that room and wait". I sat in the room maybe five hours. Then they came and said the money was mine. I understood that was their guy and his only aim was to stop my winning streak. Do you get it? or not? P.S. That was the last time I stepped into a casino. Do you get it?
Ive been with MB Trading for over 3 yrs, only 1 requote(was during a major news event), executions in under 2 seconds, no BS. Ive heard good things( most of the time) about Oanda, but for me MBT for forex trading kicks ass...
Wonder why there have been no metatrader suits since it was revealed how the platform is designed to abuse clients?
Actually it was designed to benefit dealers...I am not defending MT4...Your stating the same thing in a different way...but get your facts straight... ES
